Between work and family these days I've got little time for tv, and pretty much got rid of all but basic cable knowing that anything I want to see I can find and watch online on demand. Beyond that I round out my entertainment value with Netflix, and even then find that the numerous tv show length of 22 minutes on average fitting in with my schedule. I'm wondering if anyone has any good recommendations. I recently stumbled upon a great BBC comedy called "The Worst Week of My Life" that I thought was funnier than the vast majority of crap on tv these days. It's kind of like "Meet the Parents" on smack. The Worst Christmas Of My Life - Goose Mishap - YouTube Speaking of which, another good hardly heard of movie comedy is "Punching the Clown" (it's about a sardonic folk singer who, among other things, has a manager who compares him to "James Taylor on smack" which she thinks is a funny way to describe him until he explains to her that James Taylor really was on smack and it really wasn't funny) PUNCHING THE CLOWN - MOVIE TRAILER - YouTube Anyone else have any good Netflix stumble upons to share? i.e. little known or under rated movies or TV shows to recommend?
