Well this one should get MSNBC going again (non stop palin)

    News Today
Conservative superstar Sarah Palin opened the door yesterday to joining forces with Mitt Romney for a 2012 White House run - a hot ticket that has some Republicans licking their chops at the prospect of unseating President Obama.

I think the Dems would be "licking their chops" at any ticket including Palin.

I agree it seems like a big joke right now but with three more years of Obama Helping Them anything can happen.

Anything can happen in 3 years, Harry, anything. Heck, Sarah couldn't even stick out half of her 4 year governorship.....what makes you think she'll last on the Rah-Rah circuit?

For that matter, she's made 12 million dollars in the last year- do you think she'll really give that up for a measly $400,000.00 per year presidential salary - or, God forbid, a vice-presidential salary of $221,000.00?

Can you like a state wide medical care program, and then deny you like it??

There are a lot of stakeholders who may have something to say about that...

It will be great so see Romney's sons serving the country again:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

He gave all the money away because he felt guilty accepting a "peace prize" he's got two wars going and a Prison down in Gitmo that the democrats used to weep over when Bush was the boss (they are now silent)

I see a little Racism in that Nobel Peace Prize sh!t, those people are all Batty Liberals.

That's great. I wasn't discussing that. It was if a president was just making the ~$400k on salary or much more -- the original presumption being Sarah Palin wouldn't give up her current gig for just ~$400k a year -- but the president can make a lot more (as evidenced).

Obama's non-presidential income was from book royalties. They came from books he wrote and published before he became president.

Yes, Sarah would get royalty checks from her book, too, if she were president or vice-president....but she would not get $100,000.00 per speaking appearance like she does now, she'd have to speak to us like Obama does - for free. She would not be able to make $1,000,000.00 per episode of a reality show, instead she'd get to appear on Meet The Press or give an occasional State of the Union address for free. She'd no longer have a paying contract to appear on FoxNews - she'd simply find herself appearing there for free.

She doesn't sound like she'd be willing to give any portion of that $12 million plus up any time soon.

But Palin's actual income may be much higher, ABC reported. Asked about Palin's earnings by ABC, an aid said that she is now a private citizen and not obligated to reveal that information.
