Mediots graded Patriots 2016 draft C .. on average. This forum was (only slightly) more optimistic.
I wonder what the grade would be after week 3?
Without first round pick and with low picks in other rounds (60, 78, 91, 96, 112, 208...)
BB&co were able to add 7 of 9 2016 picks to 53 .. 1 more to the PS .. and 1 went to the Eagles 53
not to mention recovering the stolen fourth for 2017 in the process.
/8 of 9 are also always making it on the active roster!/
This fact is even more incredible knowing that they made it to the SB bound 2015 team .. that added many strong FAs before and after the draft.
This draft gave us a starting guard that is now widely considered as one of the top O rookies and re-evaluated as 1st rounder - Thuney, two great prospects in two of the most hated picks - Brissett and Valentine - who were surprisingly thrown in to the game as starters and absolutely held their own with Valentine becoming a key contributor to our great D, another great prospect in Cyrus Jones who struggled on KR but showed up on D in the last game, another brilliant prospect (on and off the field) and surprising early contributor despite injury in Mitchell; plus two very capable back-ups that also saw the field already in Karras and E.Roberts.
One would think this is a pretty great draft. An A? Who cares ...

Rich Hill had the same idea that this morning would be a good time to re-view our rookies so I pass you to his very transparent and comprehensive article:
