Eh-he's probably heading off to his underground bunker with all of the DC incumbents not running again before the fan hits the ceiling.

With that being said, I liked him alot as a football commentator.

i would much rather have football people doing the commentary on football ... perhaps every week a different retired player. Anything but these political people ... it's not why I watch.

    Huzzah!

NBC is really taking out the trash this year. First Barber and now Olbermann. That show might almost be watchable now.

By the way, that's probably the best picture I've ever seen of Olbermann. 56-0 indeed.

NBC definitely had the hippest team and setup. They are obviously trying to connect with a younger audience. I thought Olbermann was quite good, so hopefully they'll get someone even better.

The guy was horrible. Their show flat sucks anyway. He was one of many problems. I think Bob Costas sucks too. He's no Jim Nance.

For some reason, they keep re-vamping the lineup every year.

Are Dungy and Harrison still aboard for this season? I liked them both alot last year. I also liked Collinsworth much better than Madden.

Right, going for younger viewers. Uh huh sure Patters.

I'm sure his ignorance of the game, his alienating of viewers, his dry personality, his constant bias against teams he didn't like had nothing to do with it either

I hope they aren't stupid enough to replace him with someone who isn't a former player or coach or decent sports broadcaster, there wasn't a need for him in the first place and there isn't a need for anyone else who don't fit those roles now.

Nice, I can watch it again without that arrogant, condescending prick being on my TV.

    No Jersey Selected

He sucked big time and the show's ratings are going to go through the roof now that people don't have to avoid the d-bag. The only thing I regret is that we won't get to see Rodney getting up and absolutely beating the hell out of him on-air. Someone please find and post the audio of Opie and Anthony absolutely annihilating him.

Ha you heard that too eh? It was very funny. You listen to XM 202?

As for Olbermann, despite my strong dislike of him I could stand the show. It was overridden by my strong love and loyalty of Rodney. He's my favorite football player of all time. There's something about Olbermann's cadence that I don't like, but he did alright on the show for me. It'll be interesting to see who they replace him with.
