Interesting article in today's Globe about the effect of having a MySpace page on people hunting for jobs (with a rather attractive model, no less)... More and more, employers are doing internet searches...

    http://www.boston.com/yourlife/articles/2007/05/29/myspace_vs_workplace/

I've always thought about doing a MySpace page that shows me doing things like working for volunteer groups... ya know... here's a picture of me working for Habitat For Humanity, that I gave 12 months of my life to... here's me receiving the Chamber of Commerce Award.... there I am with a kitty cat I saved out of a tree... here I am in the Peace Corps... etc, etc, etc...

Now that ain't lying on my resume, that's just a MySpace page... :D

Doesn't everyone have a Myspace page? I wish I knew about Myspace when I was single. It would have added anothers 3-4 years onto my single life.

Or doing your civic duty, here is me strangling the crap out of out of innapropriate posters who clog this board with their inane religious interpretation of the way the world works for them and how it should work for you.

If you apply for a job at Microsoft, be sure to have a MySpace page. I'm serious. If you don't have one and you do get hired, they'll make you put one together.

    Regards,
    Chris

It's crazy. I heard about the same thing happening over here. They can go f*ck themselves. I work with vulnerable people in housing projects for a living, so am happy to have an in-depth Criminal Records check and someone properly following up my references. Anything else is way off limits. I mean, "this guy likes Heavy Metal, "American Football" and other violent games. Oooh, scary".

Here's me and my neighbors wife digging clams and cleaning my garage.

Here's Al Boob Gore still building his brick tent-------> :bricks:
