The main key to victory is the Patriots' offensive line. If they
play like they did last week, the Patriots will lose. They have
to give Brady time to pass. The second key is Brady has to
have a mistake free game with no interceptions or strip sacks.

My 5 keys are as follows. If the Patriots connect on these 5, I have a very hard time seeing them lose:

    1. Play smart
    2. Run the ball well
    3. Pass the ball well
    4. Defend the run well
    5. Defend the pass well

Normally I don't want to go into such depth with my analysis but I really think these are the key and will decide whether we win or lose. Let's see how right I am.

The main key is to score more than the Ravens. Do that and I guaranty a win!

Do not try to run the ball into the Ravens defense, especially on first and ten or second and long.

Do not, under any circumstances, run the ball out of the shotgun.

Although it is something he does not do, there have to be more plays in which Brady rolls out of the pocket and passes.

If throwing deep, dump the sideline fly pattern, and go deep post instead.

Use Edelman in some sort of situations where he can use the talents he had as a quarterback. (Pitchouts, direct snap, etc.) Sure, this would be something new, and untested, but if they try to play it straight against the Ravens defense, this game will be over by halftime.

Defensively, Flacco will pick them apart if the Pats play soft and do not apply presssure. The time is now for an occasional safety, or cornerback, blitz.

A lot of stunting and movement by the defensive seven needs to be done instead of the basic set that they always seem to get into showing no movement along the line prior to the snap.

I am far from an expert, but what I have suggested seems, IMO as a football fan, not a coach, seems to be good advice.

This is the game that the Pats need to be a different team on the field, one that the Ravens will not expect to see, on both sides of the ball. The time for change is NOW. (Gee, that sounds political and it is not intended to be. :D )

    My five keys:

    1. Knock off the stupid penalties at critical times - 8 penalties for -60 yards last week killed the Patriots including the TD that was called back

    2. Kick the pointy ball through the friggin' uprights - if ever there was a game where one field will make the difference it is this one

    3. Catch the damn ball - all these talented pass catchers - you too, Winslow and Branch - need to watch the ball hit their hands and look it all the way into their bodies. Do the basics!

    4. Block the guys trying to block the punt - Jeeeezus!

    5. Block the guys trying to kill Tom Brady - 4 sacks is unacceptable!

Hmm! Big deal, I came up with the same thing too, though it did take a lot of deep thought:p

    Warning:

The Surgeon General has determined starting Donald Thomas at right guard and Marcus Cannon at right tackle is dangerous to Tom Brady's health.
