Hm. Dunno, I think Izzo stinks. I mean, sticks.

And I vote "Floaters" becomes an official position in the NFL, hehe.

Appreciate the feedback. I originally had Izzo on the list, but had a hard time dropping Guyton (younger, faster, more upside) and Matt Slater (looked pretty good on STs and on defense! Just too versatile)

you mean floaters isn't already a position? What position did Troy Brown play all those years :)

I agree, for sure. I just think Izzo gets a spot belonging to a lock hitting IR or at least PUP (Who's left?). Also, Spann may very well get cut (I like him, but he doesn't make my roster).

Izzo CANNOT go on PUP

I knew what you meant

"Grammarage"? well done

Hehe. Don't tell anyone, but I actually know how to write. Even the best suck at night I guess.

Thanks for interpreting me correctly, hehe.

I think we need some time to digest what happened, watch tonight's game over again and then review all the other games as well before making any judgements. I also have a feeling that the Pats will make a trade or two before the final cutdown, just a hunch.

I've been having that hunch too. We have enough LB's to trade for a whole team, hehe.

Great job, you're 53 is exactly what I would have...........

Spann has really shown nothing, so I'm not sure he's done enough in my eyes to earn a spot and cost someone else a spot, but he is young and BB might see the "P" word when he looks at him.

The issue is special teams. You keep Spann, Guyton and Ventrone.
I keep Izzo, Alexander and Aiken.

I like where you are offensively. Defensively I'm going to change a few things. One of Wright and Smith makes it. I like Wright to make it, LeKevin to get cut.

Eric Alexander is arguably the best special teams player we have. He plays, and plays well, on both return teams and both coverage teams. That's certainly more important that a sixth defensive lineman on the active roster. I know he's one of our favorite whipping boys, but I would be stunned if he didn't make the team.

I think Lewis Sanders hits the highway in favor of either Vince Redd or one more year of Larry Izzo. The other five guys you have listed as corner plus Meriweather should set us at that position. In fact, my guess is that barring another IR candidate, Sanders and Hobson get cut. If we need more help at ILB, Junior's only a phone call away, and I've seen nothing to suggest that Hobson is better at ILB than Alexander would be in a pinch.

Put Aiken on IR, and next year he takes either Izzo or Washington's job.

Izzo and Alexander over Spann and Guyton, other than that I agree.
