I'll admit, I was wrong. I seriously thought he was going to struggle against Philly. I seriously thought their pass rush would get to him, and overwhelm him mentally. I was dead wrong, he tore Philly a new one. It was an impressive performance. He looked like the great Tom Brady that everyone has come to love. I still stand by some of my concerns about him in previous games. Maybe they were a bit exaggerated, but I never meant any hate toward the one and only great Tom Brady. I have very high expectations for him, and if he doesn't meet those high expectations, I feel it is fair game to call him out. I was wrong about thinking the Patriots were dead in the water. I underestimated how much smarter Belichick is than anyone else. And that when Brady is on, it is hard for any team to beat the Patriots. Total kudos to Gronk, and Welker as well. Those two guys are animals! I don't think the Patriots are a great team. However, in this bizarre AFC conference, I like them as much as anyone to go to the SB. Winning it is another question, but can the Pats go to the SB? Sure, why not. There's not another great team in the AFC this year, so it is wide open.
