The "loony goony's" communist bastard b!tch rats over on Far Left MSNBC are always bleating and slopping about The Constitution and Freedom Of Speech (when it so suits them) but they won't allow this guy to come on their lousy low rated sh!t network to speak about his new book, the dirty left wing freaks.

    Pat Says:
America was born a Western Christian republic but is being transformed into a multiracial, multicultural, multilingual, multiethnic stew of a nation that has no successful precedent in the history of the world.

While I disagree with most of the points Buchanan is making (at least those in the blurb above), I think journalism as a whole should be in the business of showing all views and allowing viewers to inform their opinions accordingly, not picking the views they agree with and only showing those

That being said, they can have on who they want. If someone wants to watch interviews with Pat, said viewers have a choice to tune into stations that will provide that and a choice to not watch stations that wont.

    Lie # 2.
Even if it was unprecedented, who cares?
Our form of government was unprecedented.
Our abundance of natural recources was unprecedented.
Our current level of idiocy is unprecedented.
When we developed the nuke, it was unprecedented.
When we landed humans on the moon - that was unprecedented.

Being "unprecedented" is not the same as "wrong".

Pat needs to get to a neurologist. He seems to be losing it. I used to like him.

Not giving someone a public venue is not censorship.

That being said, the modern secular religion of "multi-culturalism" is part of our undoing.

Yeah, but Harry don't get it. MSNBC is no more a hard-core news outlet than FOX is. They are bent one way and that's that. Neither is "fair and balanced". I doubt you'd see FOX letting a leftie sell his book on their show.

Enough with the false outrage, Harry

Not multi-culturalism in the sense of having people from many cultures co-existing in a common culture, but in the sense that the modern paradigm seems to be that host cultures need to assimilate to the immigrants rather than the other way around. I mean, why do people leave Algeria and Mexico in the first place? I believe that the balkanization of Western societies will be disastrous.

The Declaration of Independence and US Constitution used Natural Law as a basis, the Christian view of Natural Law.

This wiki article gives a quick overview:

Natural law - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The distinction that the US has enjoyed is that our rights are acknowledged to be granted by our creator not by the state. Government can't grant or take away rights that are granted by our creator.

Thats the only point I was trying to make "The Double Standard" MSNBC is the biggest Phony Biased network in the business, thats why they are always at the bottom of the Ratings Pile.

Spain did OK with it. So did England. The Vikings exported their culture and blended in just fine. Mongolian culture is still apparent all over Asia. The Magyars brought their language to Finland. Examples of multi-culturalism is constant throughout history, and here we are. Would you like it if the whole world spoke one language, worshiped the same gods, listened to Led Zeppelin and had the same appearance?

I mean, if you look at it from the standpoint of the Iroquios, then you may have a point. Invading cultures who rejected the local ways were certainly disasterous for them.

What do you mean by "Balkanization" and how do you see it establishing in the US? You could make the arguement that America is already "Balkanized" culturally, religiously, linguistically, and economically.

That's a lie and please, PLEASE don't reference Wiki to justify such a large and intensely-debated assertion like you just did. It's silly.

Try reading the Declaration of Independence and try to get by your hatred of religion, so you can look at this objectively.

I read about 10 left and right wing blogs every morning, and somewhere in the middle there is truth..

The author of LGF, used to be a rightie, but he switched over due to the extermism of the right..

    BOO HOOOOOO!
    Hatred of Religion!
    *Sob*...*sob*...*sob*...
    Booo HOOOOOOO

This country did not exist until the Constitution was written. The references to gods were pasrt of the lingo of the day. Kings and leaders have always used that crap on the People to keep them in awe as if they had some sort of divine knowledge that the illiterate chumps would gasp in amazement when the words were spoken. Just because TJ used those words doesn't mean he believed them or that they were factual. Did TJ have some divine connection to your gods that we aren't aware of? Natural Law is total bullsh!t and has historically conflicted with the Truth.

While I agree that Governments should not take away rights inherent in the minds and well-being of all humanity, it does not necessarily follow that those rights come from an Invisible Man in the Sky.

The words "objectively" and "religion" do not belong in the same sentence.

You can believe in anything you want, however you can't project your beliefs onto historical facts, and what people who wrote our founding documents used as a basis for those documents.

Neither can you. Unless of course, you were there consulting with them. You have no more of an idea what the FF were thinking/using as a basis than anyone else. Its all conjecture.

You're projecting your own beliefs if you believe the Declaration or the Constitution makes us a Christian nation, or in any way relies on Christianity or any other religion for their validity.

What are examples of this: "host cultures need to assimilate to the immigrants rather than the other way around"?

(I agree with you that immigrants should assimilate to the culture they enter -- but I also think that cultures change, and always have changed, as well)

You are of course referring to the Deists who influenced and wrote all these documents..

We have been down this road before, many times, and unfortunately selective memory sets in..
