Mr. "Can't Wait", Bart Scott, joining CBS Sports

re: Mr. "Can't Wait", Bart Scott, joining CBS Sports

I saw him on tv last year and was surprised. He sounded pretty good.

Grade A douche on the field but pretty good analyst, continues the trend of marginal NFL talent that is pretty good behind the mic (Matt Chatham comes to mind).

Is there no one else with the skill & likeability of Strahan or Rodney to put in the booth? With the past patriots I can think of a few -- Ty Law would probably be great in the booth. League-wide, there's got to be better ex players to choose from than Scott.

I love rodney, but Bart Scott is far more articulate and interesting in front of the camera. He is a huge improvement after the bland Marino and equine Sharpe.

I've been pretty impressed by Matt Light whenever I've heard him, he is miles better than most of them.

permit me to be a bit more specific...or perhaps not...BUT...the "equine" Sharpe can be broken down further IMO...

Jack + mare = mule
Stallion + jennet = hinny
Jack + mule = jule, or donkule
Stallion + mule = hule
Male mule = horse mule, or john mule
Female mule = mare mule, or molly

Somewhere in there resides the truth to Sharpe's existence....
