I was searching the net, and I saw this question, and I think it was asked, wheat movies can you watch over and over again, regardless, of how old the film is?

    Here are some,
    North Dallas Forty
    Scarface
    Godfather 1 and 2
    Shaft
Independance Day(Will Smith and Vivica A Fox)
The Longest Yard(the original one from the 70's)
Caddy Shack(Bill Murray and Ted Knight)
    Heaven Can Wait
    Malcom X(Denzel Washington)
    The Fish that Saved Pittsburgh
    Resident Evil 1 and 2

The "Matrix" trilogy would be at the top of my list. Also "Lawrence of Arabia."

I have seen Shaft twice. The first time I thought it was unbelievably hip and cool. The second time, twenty years later, I was truly embarrassed that I could ever have thought such a thing. There won't be a third time!

Comedies usually fall into this category for me... though a few "true" story dramas like "The Killing Fields" are works of art worth multiple views

    Comedy:

    Best in Show
    Spinal Tap
    Life of Brian
    Meaning of Life
    Meet the Parents

    Music:

    The Last Waltz
    The Grateful Dead Movie

    Drama

    The Godfather
    Good Fellas
    The Killing Fields
    Gangs of New York

(it seems like Martin Scorcesse pictures are a frequent part of this list)

    Zoolander
    Not Another Teen Movie
The Lord of the Rings trilogy
    The Lost Boys
    Dumb and Dumber
    Gangs of New York

Nearly peed my pants laughing at this movie when I was about 14, seeing it for the first time

I had heard so much about it that I had to see it. I was pretty disappointed. I don't remember laughing once. I guess it's just not my kind of humor.

I had no expectations - some friends and I stumbled upon it on tv one weekend afternoon not even knowing what we were watching at first - the group experience may also add something to it

Not sure where you're dirty mind is going with that... but we were also smoking the same rolled cigarette too if you know what I mean

That more than anything added to the hilarity
