Can we please kick these illegals out? Illegals have no fear in this country. Why should they? Free housing for Aunti Z, a drivers license and SS# for Uncle O, and a night out on the town driving wasted, after this criminal illegal already had a rap sheet for burglary and assaulting a police officer. LEGAL immigration, not ILLEGAL. This kid might still be alive if the laws were simply enforced.

Mourners cry for reform as Milford DUI victim laid to rest

Mourners crowded a Milford church yesterday for the funeral of a 23-year-old crash victim, voicing outrage over a young life ended by what authorities say was an illegal alien who was driving drunk.

Matthew J. Denice was killed Aug. 20 when his motorcycle was struck and his body was dragged a quarter-mile and then run over. Ecuadorian native Nicholas Guaman, who has a record of burglary and assaulting a police officer, has been charged with motor vehicle homicide while drunk and driving without a license.

“All of this could have been prevented if we just enforced the laws we have,” said Verne Thayer of Milford. “It’s wrong, just wrong, because our politicians want to be politically correct. If (Guaman) had been deported the first time, these people would still have their son.”

The Obama administration has been deporting people like crazy. Too bad this scumbag wasn't one of them.

I will admit that I have no idea how to handle the illegal immigration problem. Do we build a Berlin like wall on both sides of the border (Canada & Mexico)?

Do we grant amnesty for "productive" illegals or do we sweep up millions of people and send them back to where they came from?

Illegal immigration has been an issue for decades.

They've also been dismissing cases like crazy. They recently moved to pass backdoor amnesty too. The answer is simple. Enforce the laws we have, fine employers, and seal the border. It's not complicated imo.

The biggest failure to me has been the lack of fines for employers. When was the last time you read a story about an employer being punished for hiring illegals?

Georgia passed a very strict immigration law earlier this year and the agricultural industry is suffering big time as their cheap labour has vanished.

It is a very complex issue.

Ugh. When was the last time ICE, or any Federal agency, raided an Orange Grove in Florida or a restaurant anywhere?

This kind of crap happens every day. Read Radley Balko at Reason or his blog. It's infuriating.

Illegals will always be streaming in as long as Americans want cheap orange juice and clean hotels. The country's Owners will make sure that there is no security at the borders and ports. No part of government will disobey the desires of the Owners.

BTW, this has nothing to do with Gov. Patrick. He will not and should not do the job of the US government.
