Who do you think it is?
For me it's probably Matt Light.
Dude, it's the guy in your avatar, if you go by the fans perceptions.
Ty Warren is becoming an absolute BEAST! He get's my vote for the (irrelevant, I know) Pro Bowl.
This was definitely true before but this year I think he's finally getting a lot of the credit he deserves, especially from people on here.
Vrabel is the defensive counterpart to Troy Brown. He'll play wherever and whenever you need him, and with success.
EUGENE WILSON. He destroyed the Colts Wrs in the AFCCG in '03, injured himself in the SB 38, picked off Rothlesberger twice in the AFFCG in '04, broke his arm making a TD saving tackle in SB 39, endured a tough stretch in '05 without Rodney, but pulled it together down the stretch and knocked Alvin Pearman of the Jags senseless in the playoffs last year, causing a key fumble. Then, he pulls a hamstring and Felger skewers him in the press and some fans turn against him. Very unfortunate lack of loyalty to a player who has delivered so many times in the team's biggest games.
Matt Light gets my vote as player I would most like to see moved to right tackle and replaced by a talented stud at the all important left tackle position.
He has had several years to learn to deal with speed rushers, and it isn't happening.
glad were both supporters of #26
add me to the fan club - i sometimes feel like i'm the only guy ever to buy his jersey.
The guy you've hardly heard of this season: Logan Mankins.
He's gone under the radar, but he's having a great year.
Yep. Vrabel would be one I vote for. While everybody are lauding about Troy Brown playing DB, what about Vrabel playing the TD-hogging freak that he is? He's what, like 7-for-7 TD - Reception?
The thing that bothers me about Light is he causes more false start penalties than anyone else. At least it seems that way. I'd have to give some props to Wilfork. The big guy doesn't give up on plays.
Good GOD, you people have got to be kidding me. Geno is a player I LOVED a few years back but who the vast majority of Pats fans acknowledge has slipped like crazy lately. He's wildly inconsistent. I hope he comes back and lives up to your hype, but so far I don't see what you can possibly base ANY of this on.
I'd say Mike Wright is pretty unsung, but my vote goes to Stephen Neal or Reche Caldwell.
Light is one of the best run blocking LT in the league. And I think he's pretty solid in pass protection too. But mostly he is a leader and a guy Belichick trusts to protect Brady's blindside.
If I had to pick one it would be Wilfork. He's been a huge part of the fact that the Pats have one of the best run stuffing defenses in the league.
Rosie Colvin. People have the most ridiculous expectations for him.
I vote for Ty Warren.. But you could make a case for Tom Brady, since we should be greatful we have him as our QB..
6/6 in the regular season, and 2/2 in the Super Bowl. And he'd be at least 8/8 in the regular season if Brady hadn't overthrown a couple of passes. But who's counting?
[Seriously, though, I can't ever remember a time when Brady threw the ball in Vrabel's direction without Vrabel managing to at least get a piece of the ball--and I don't think anyone, WR or TE, could have caught that most recent ball and come down in bounds.]
