Little Rhody, middle of the pack.

What are the factors for that anyway?

I guess I'd agree with Lousiana prior and post-Katrina. Just look at Britney Spears/Federline. Nuff said.

New Hamsta's only #1 because people from Ma pay 90% of the taxes needed to run the state just in tolls for getting to the mountains and lakes region.

Live outside of Manchester, work outside of Boston - like many do.

Lucky me to be living in the heart of #50 ... Though I'm surprised it didn't rate 51 somehow.

    #15 Jersey

That's a load of crap. NH is the only reason that Mass. could be ranked as high as 7.

Without NH around Mass would be ranked next to Tennessee.

I'm missing something here. Why does New Hampshire have a bearing on Massachusetts' ranking or vice versa, other than them being next to each other?

    #75 Jersey

It has none. New Hampshire is a great place, just like the rest of New England.

Whomever made up this highly flawed list never chose to visit these places. Why the hell would I want to live in Minny, Iowa, New Hampshire, Vermont,
New Jersey, Wyoming, Massachusetts, Virginia, Nebraska, Connecticut, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Kansas, Maryland, Maine, or Delaware?
I love living in a state where I can actually breathe clean air, see beautiful scenery, and not have to deal with all of the gang problems. Every state has the drug problems...every state has way too much taxes...but...whatever.

Idaho's nice but it's got nothing on those states you mentioned. You do have lots of nice air, though, I'm sure. Why's it so different from Wyoming?

Thanks. I thought I had missed something. At some point, either for training camp or a regular season game, Miss Gcat and I intend to do a pilgrimage to New England and the US as a whole. I worked out that she has some learning to do about football when she didn't realise that the same people don't (generally) play offence and defence.

Every state has areas of great natural beauty and with clean air, but only a few have world-class museums, history, hospitals, culture, and variety. As far as dealing with gang problems, that's mostly for gang members and people who live in really bad areas. I'm sure the danger of any of us being confronted by a gang are probably not much higher than the danger of you being kicked by a cow.

Idaho is alright. That isn't where I live...but it is a sufficient alternative. Colorado is also another. Why is Washington not ranked higher? It has one of the lower tax brackets. If you moved to Vancouver, Washington, you could get your groceries in Portland, Oregon without having to pay a sales tax, then turn around and go home. Washington has much lower tax for businesses.

I live in Montana. I think that it is ranked low because they really don't want to make it a boom town for industry. Truth be known, that the western part of Montana is growing like crazy. Not Las Vegas or Phoenix crazy...but a few years ago a town that had 2,000 people now is over 15,000.

The property taxes are going crazy now because of all the excalifornians and exfloridians. They are buying property in a bubble market, then when winter hits -- they go running back to the south. I really cannot blame them for hating the bitter winters...but...thanks for the tax hike.

Oh, and the cows are starting up a posse themselves. They are revolting against the cow tippings.

I had to move to Kansas about 6 years ago. Shawnee is a suburb of KC. Although I didn't really mind it, I really missed the mountains. It just adds another dimension. I also lived in Phoenix, Az and Columbus, Ohio before. Phoenix was just too crazy. My truck got ripped off there twice. I lived in a decent neighborhood also (close to Devry). Mexican mafia jerkoffs.

    Ohio just smelled of industry.

When I think of gangs I don't think of Minny, Iowa, New Hampshire, Vermont, Wyoming, Nebraska, Connecticut, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Kansas or Maine. You obviously have never been to Maine if you think they have a gang problem. The only gang's they have are wanta be's, generally guys who grew up in hickville but hated that environment and watched to much MTV! I live in Virginia and the only areas that have gang activity are northern va, newport news area and maybe roanoke the rest of the state is amazing. So I am not sure what made you cluster all of those states together based on gang activity.

Unless of course the Illuminati are based in those states as well as the Buffalo area!

The gang part was sort-of disconnected to the story...so I should've clarified it.

KC has gangs. Milwaukee has gangs. Minneapolis has gangs. I would think that MS-13 is active in Virginia.

These states were ranked ahead of mine. That was the gist.

The list is one persons rank.

...and Mgcolby is a full-fledged member of the sheep on drugs gang. He just tries to make people think that he is a productive human.

MS-13 is active in Northern Virginia one of the areas I mentioned.

Nope no drugs not my thing, but I am a productive human. Never had a thing for sheep either! But what ever "gang" I am involved in it is better then the Conspiracies R Us clan that that you follow. Look everybody it is the New World Order, better get your Mindguard software ready and please remember not to stare at the blue image too long.

They have medicine that treats Schizophrenia, that way you could save a bunch of money off of your tinfoil bill every month.
