    Re: Moss's Contract

    You are KIDDING ME.
Is this even legal for Moss to give up all that money?

I remember there was a big fuss about A-Rod not being allowed to give up money to go to the Red Sox... is the NFL players association different?

Moss is coming here with a purpose. He is truly coming here for a championship, and will play his arse off to win as well as for a new contract.

I think the best description I heard of Moss today was "Frontrunner".

Truth be told that's OK with me, because a gut like that will be happy hear.

He's a vane? (vain) guy too and I'm sure his image taking quite a big hit the last few years has killed him.

OMG that is such an awesome deal. We got Randy Moss for a 4th rounder and playing for peanuts on basically a contract year. We are going to see some AWESOME offense from the Pats in '07!!

Wow, so without including the incentives, Randy Moss is making the same amount of money for his base salary as Kyle Brady is. The man is not lying when he says he wants to be here.

Wonder what the signing bonus is.

He really does seem to be more about where he is than the money involved. I'm sick of people comparing him to Owens.

Now I can't get too attatched to Moss because it's only one year.

Its not a 1 year deal, reiss said his salary for this year is 3 mill, you can not renegotiate a 2 year contract into a 1 year contract.
