Why not, did they almost take him instead of Brady origionally. ;)

Go after Huard ............ or somebody worth spending time on ........... like a veteran. Use a draft choice.

Cassel se the QB until he loses it ............. after that I might just be satisfied with O'Connell, absent a veteran.

they should call ryan leaf:D

Umm . . . you do know that Huard was the guy who was playing the second half, don't you?

Huard wont be going anywhere now that Croyle is out 4 weeks..

Chris Simms and Tim Rattay are the only options to back up Casell, O connell the future is not ready yet..

NFL Network's ticket said something about Chris Simms coming in for a workout and physical too.

Huard is now the starter for KC - we dislocated Croyle's shoulder...

Not sure Rattay is better or worse than Simms, neither meet Bill's definition as veterans or successful. Both have been through the grinder so to speak. That said they would represent a worst case buffer between O'Connell and the field if anything happened to Cassel. That's all there is...

If you told me I'd be reading this thread Saturday night I would have laughed.

In February/March of 2000, Belichick sent **** Rehbein out to scout two QBs for the draft, late rounders, with the hope of developing one into Drew's backup.

1) Tom Brady
2) Tim Rattay

Any chance we bring back Bledsoe? He's rested, he's ready...
