America's professional "war protesters" don't want to offend President Sh!t Head so we are going to be there for awhile.

Here's the good old days when the Chimp was running the wars.

They learned when Richard Cheney was running and ruining this country with the azzclown George as his sidekick, that they could not change things and that the military, industrial cabal are really in charge of all of this.

And they do not give a shyt about "collateral damage", as long as the bottom line is fat. Haliburton is making record profits.. on your dime. So say thank you Haliburton.

RIP ... this crash will be a tremendous recruiting tool for the Taliban.
They will say this was Allah's will ... I say they had some inside information.

RIP to the brave soldiers and condolences to their families ... kids lost their dad and wives lost their husbands, parents lost their loved ones - irreplaceable people in their families lives.

The way things run in Afghanistan, they very well could have had inside information..

    Agree with the sentiment..

Ditto, the place has been a clusterf*ck for hundreds of years and always will be with no functioning government. I agree with Darryl, get out before more families suffer and leave them to their own devices...Oh yeah and take Karzai's US security team too.....

Remember when the Russians were there and we laughed at them. We knew they would accomplish nothing - and they didn't. I still think we should come to some agreement with the Taliban and move on. I doubt they enjoy losing people either. It doesn't matter how right or righteous we are. We are Americans on their soil - this is all they need to know to fight back.

How do we get out....Who gives the order.....The Chimp Nazi Bush has been gone for two years and we're still there, I would say it is now up to President Sh!t Head.

Go back even further to the British and what Kipling said of Afghanistan when the British were mired in their own war there, The Young British Soldier..

Horrible, over at Blackfive they view this for SoCOM and anti terrorist operations is like the Navy losing an aircraft carrier.

This week there was article in the New Yorker about ST^ and the OBL operation.

The Mission to Get Osama Bin Laden : The New Yorker

Then an allegation by a Georgetown prof that the article was a fake was made on Aug 4th:

The Schmidle Muddle of the Osama Bin Laden Take Down

Now there are 20 ST6 Warriors who will never be able to testify to the truth or not of this article.

    Very strange coincidence.

This part of the ST 6 group was not involved in the takedown of OBL...

Any thread from a blog.. is suspect.

    A few thoughts on this.

    1. It sickens me that Amy Winehouse got all kinds headlines for dying, yet CNN.com relegated this to a tiny blurb within hours of it coming out. And the word "crash" is pretty revolting also. Yeah, helicopters tend to "crash" after getting attacked with a RPG. I don't know anyone personally who were on the rotary, but they were under the same umbrella I am and we are mourning their loss.

    2. We need to GTFO out of this country. IMHO, the Afghans here just don't give a damn who is in charge and it shows. The Soviets met little resistence, the Taliban even less, and now we're here cleaning their messes for them. What the Afghan people care about is their village and not much past that...there is no kind of national sense of pride like the US and other countries experience. The longer I am here and the more people I see lost, the more wasteful it feels. If they don't want the help and are unmotivated to take care of themselves, screw them.

    *stepping down from my soapbox*

    The Word "Crash"

The Taliban Dogs SHOT It Down, THEN IT CRASHED, THE OBAMA MEDIA DID THEIR BEST TO TRY AND DOWNPLAY IT BUT IT WAS TO BIG FOR THEM, as Patters said in another thread "little by little the liberals are holding their noses while they finally are coming around to the fact that Barack Hussien Obama isn't any different than GW Bush"

All the Afghan war is accomplshing is it is KILLING our troops, why the hell do we stay there.
god damn america's war protesters they are dishonest immoral phony bastards

Subsequent reports from the military times indicated that they were not sure what happened.. and have not ruled out anything.

You have every right to get on a soapbox, probably more than any of us who are at home on their computers, sleeping in bed with those they love.

You were silent during Iraq and Afghanistan initially, in fact were a pom pom waver, another Bush rumpswab now that this war continues cannot wait to get on your predictable soapbox..

There is no respect for the dead, and their greiving families just another right wing opportunity politicize this tragedy, bash Obama, under the guise of some whack job right wing agenda.

You long and pine for Cindy et al, but when they did protest all you did was whine about them and said they had no right. But that was a political opportunity then, and this is a political opportunity now.. soi some follow along.

And now Grandma is a traitor.. send her to Leavenworth..

So now you are controlled by the above??? Thought you were your own man, not just another sheep who followed along..

Why do you revel in the death of warriors for your own political agenda? No respect for them and their families.. but you will use anything to bash Obama, even though you were silent on the war based on lies.

Nobody is "reveling in their deaths" they're deaths could have been prevented if this President had ended these rotten senseless wars as millions of Americans expected him to do, the big "change we can believe in" never came the only change I can see is things have gotten worse.

How silent John Kerry is, the great Anti War Senator, how silent they all are the phony members of the Bush Hating war protester association.

A few brave Congress and Senate members could and should speak out on the military mentality. It will hurt their campaign donations but bravery has a price and even if they do not win next election the lives they save will be worth it.
