They just keep proving it over and over again. The NFL draft, the NBA draft, these last few days. These people are just scum. As a sports fan I am ashamed to be from NJ.

I dont agree with it but how is heckling threatening? The full article just mentions people spewing insults at him which is what you should expect. Name me a Yankee who would not get the same treatment in Boston. I dont even think its questionable it would be the same when you have Sox fan who try to urinate on Yankees fans at Yanks Sox games in Fenway.

And you guys don't think Mariano Rivera would have gotten the same treatment if the All-Star game was played in Boston?

no offense but Mariano has way more class then Papelbon. This comng from the same person who likes and respects David Ortiz, Papelbon is a little punk.

He's a smack talker. I love him for it. If he was on the Yankees, you'd probably love him too.

Probably so but you can imagine why I feel the way I do about him. Its the Rodney Harrison/Sean Avery effect, love him on your team can't stand him when he isn't

Isn't that the truth. I couldn't stand Rodney when he was with the Chargers.

    #75 Jersey

He bailed on the All-Star game in Boston in '99, he had "personal business" to take care of.

Imagine if there was a giant article on the back of the Herald killing him for it.

Joe Torre got a huge standing ovation from the fenway crowd on his return to the Yankees after a bout with cancer.

Everything that Rocker said about New York, IS TRUE!!!!!

The absolute greatest day of my life is when I had my family packed and we left NY for good, I remember the absolute glee I felt after paying my last toll, and driving over the Outer Bridge to Jersey and heading South.

    I hope that you're not a fan of A-Rod.

New Yorkers are only fans of A-Rod during the regular season.

So you will be fine with the "cheater" and "roid rage" rants that Fenway should rain down upon Petite and the Giambino.

I can't wait to see the Madonna head cut-outs.

The Yankees have not won a World Series, since the inception of Steriods testing.

Niether have like 25 other teams. Oh, and the Pats haven't won a Superbowl since the NFL toughened theirs.

There's a lot more people in NY than Boston, and hence, alot more losers. NY fans are more viscious than Boston fans, but no one is worse than the fans in Philly. The fans in Philly taunted Joe Jurevicious over his infant child dying. That is scum.

I said in my first post I dont agree with it, what more do you want me to say? In his personal life off the field people should leave him alone.

I'm not lying... it would be nice if some disaster were to strike Philly and just wipe that entire city out. And no, I'm not joking. I hate everything in Philly. The only thing they ever did right was the cheesesteak. I'm sorry if any of you have family up there, but I really mean what I said.

Yankee fans have become Red Sox fans and vice versa, it all began with the collapse in the ALCS in 2004; they don't know how to deal with the fact that the worm has turned and they are no longer the hunted but are now the hunter.

Even after the collapse in 2004 and the World Series win, Yankee fans still thought their team was the brass balls; ANOTHER World Series win last year and guess what, they aren't. Speaking of brass balls, Tito getting introduced as the manager of the World Series Champion Boston Red Sox at the house that Ruth built WAS the brass balls.

I am more concerned with the Angels and the Rays than the Yankees. They are too old and too injured at this point. Did you see that fat broad holding up the back page of the Post that read Papelbum and SCREAMING her lungs out at him?

Red Sox fans used to act that way towards the Yankees, key word is USED to..................

You were going good until you said "used to".
