I dont see the thread to post your mock draft so I made another.

Here is my newest mock...

Philip's 1 Round Mock Draft and 7 Round Patriots Mock Draft.

Round 1
1. Texans- Jadeveon Clowney DE South Carolina
2. Rams- Sammy Watkins WR Clemson
3. Jaguars- Teddy Bridgewater QB Louisville
4.(TRADE) Vikings- Blake Bortles QB UCF Traded #8,#72,#104, 2015 4th to Browns.
5. Raiders- Johnny Manziel QB Texas A&M
6. Falcons- Greg Robinson OT Auburn
7. Buccaneers- Khalil Mack OLB Buffalo
8.(From Vikings) Browns- Jake Matthews OT Texas A&M
9. Bills- Anthony Barr OLB UCLA
10. Lions- Justin Gilbert CB Oklahoma State
11. Titans- Hasean Clinton-Dix FS Alabama
12. Giants- Taylor Lewan OT Michigan
13.(TRADE) Ravens- Mike Evans WR Texas A&M traded #17,#79,2015 6th
14. Bears- Timmy Jernigan DT Florida State
15. Steelers- Darqueze Dennard CB Michigan State
16. Cowboys- Louis Nix DT Notre Dame
17.(From Ravens) Rams- Calvin Pryor FS Lousiville
18. Jets- Marqise Lee WR USC
19. Dolphins- Zack Martin OT Notre Dame
20. Cardinals- CJ Mosley ILB Alabama
21. Packers- Eric Ebron TE UNC
22. Eagles- Kyle Fuller CB Virginia Tech
23. Chiefs- Odell Beckham Jr WR LSU
24. Bengals- Ryan Shazier OLB Ohio State
25. Chargers- Aaron Donald DT Pittsburgh
26. Browns- Derek Carr QB Fresno State
27. Saints- Xavier Su'a-Filo OG UCLA
28. Panthers- Kelvin Benjamin WR Florida State
29. PATRIOTS- Kony Ealy DE Missouri
Wasn't expecting him to fall this late, had to take him. Was originally going to trade down and out of first round.
30. 49ers- Brandin Cooks WRSlot Oregon State
31. Broncos- Jason Verrett CB TCU
32. Seahawks- Jace Amaro TE Texas Tech

Rest of Patriots Mock Draft...
33. Texans traded #33 to Patriots for QB Ryan Mallett and WR Danny Amendola.
33. Falcons traded #37, #135, #197 to Patriots and selected Dee Ford DE Auburn
37. Austin Seferin-Jenkins TE Washington
62. Buccaneers traded #71,#133, #195 to Patriots and select Troy Niklas TE Notre Dame
71. Westin Richburg C Colorado State
93. AJ McCarron QB Alabama
126. Craig Loston SS LSU
133. Caraun Reid DT Princeton
135. Crockett Gilmore TE Colorado State
144. Brandon Coleman WR Rutgers Patriots traded #182, #189 to Bears
192. Aaron Colvin CB Oklahoma Patriots traded #197, #221 to Seahawks
195. Tyler Starr OLB South Dakota

-Patriots double dipped into TEs even though I think we will sign a FA TE.
-Patriots traded away Mallett and Amendola and got their potential Brady successor in McCarron.
-This is just a scenario. I wasn't picking and choosing, I just took the best player and need that was available at the right position in the draft.

There's a lot of picks I like there:

ASJ
Caraun Reid
Brandon Coleman's value.

And there's no picks I hate. I have trouble seeing first round value in Kony Ealy. I can see it logically and I try to see it when I watch his tape because he makes so much sense, but unfortunately I never do. Second round value for me.

It's a good mock. Well done.

I'm not an AJ McCarron fan, and if Aaron Donald falls to 20 I go after him (I probably do it sooner):

- Trade 29 + 93 to Philadlephia for 22 (obligatory Eagles trade; Eagles can probably get Kyle Fuller at 29)
- 22: Aaron Donald, DT, Pittsburgh
- Trade 33 to Jacksonville for 39 and 102 (Jacksonville would also love Dee Ford, who projects to a LEO in Gus Bradley's scheme - he's similar to Bruce Irvin)
- 39: ASJ (I would have taken Amaro, but he's off the board)
- 62: I like your trade with TB for #71 and #133; not sure we're going to get a 3-for-1 deal
- 71: I like going OL here - Westburg, Marcus Martin, Travis Swanson, Joel Bitonio or Brandon Thomas would all work for me
- 102: Christian Jones if he's available, otherwise Jordan Tripp - either adds range, athleticism, explosiveness and coverage ability to our LB group
- 126: Antone Exum, DB, Virginia Tech
- 133: Justin Ellis, DT, Louisiana Lafayette, or best available DL (Aaron Lynch, Will Clarke, Caraun Reid, etc.)
6a. Best available DB out of Dontae Johnson / Aaron Colvin / Phillip Gaines / Jonathan Dowling.
6b. TE conversion: Larry Webster or Logan Thomas.
6 (comp). H-back: Trey Millard or Trey Bruton.
7. Moon shot: Chris Boyd or Colt Lyerla

I will throw my hat in. This is the mock I would do IF i was in complete control of the Patriots GM spot (so it will be different from every mock I have done so far) while also being realistic about what can be accomplished.

Here is my overall philosophy for this draft though. ALL IN! This is the year and this is the draft. Push all your chips to the center of the table. Brady has maybe 4 years left and you don't need to keep getting rookies in the future as they may not be able to contribute in that window (cause it takes 1-2 years to get really good anyway).

With no further ado

#16 - TRADE - Aaron Donald - DT (cost this years 1st and 2nd)
#39 - TRADE - ASJ - TE (Cost next years 1st but you also get a 3rd)
#68 - TRADE - Deone Bucannon - SS (Cost you next years 2nd but you get your much needed SS).
#81 - Keith McGill - CB (this is the other pick we got with next years 1st)
#93 - Weston Richberg - OC
4 - Jeff Janis - WR
6 - Colt Lyerla - TE
6 - Aaron Lynch - DE
7 - De'Anthony Thomas - RB

Also would be willing to trade next years 3rd too but i don't wanna get TOO crazy and outside the box.

I'll give a full round 1 mock a go. Mine will probably be different than most but its a combination of rankings, rumors and personal opinion. Looking at some of the rumors it seems to me that there is a decent chance both Bridgewater and Manziel could drop. Bortles seems to be the consensus #1 QB and I think Derek Carr may have moved up to #2.

While it may look suspicious because the Pats end up with two of my favorite prospects, I did try to do this fairly and not force anyone. Every pick is legitimate and the only one I may have forced is Manziel, just because I think he will go in the 1st but it was hard to find the right fit.

1. Houston- QB- Blake Bortles- UCF
While I would love to trade Mallett to Houston, I think they go with Bortles, who now seems to be the consensus #1 QB.

2. *Atl (from Stl)- DE- Jadeveon Clowney- South Carolina
Stl is almost certain to trade down, I think Atlanta is most likely to make a move for Clowney

3. Jax- OLB- Khalil Mack- Buffalo
I don’t think Bridgewater or Manziel are a great fit for the Jaguars offense so I think they go for BPA (excluding Robinson) which could be Mack, who would be a great fit for the Gus Bradley defense. They take a much better QB fit in the 3rd with Mettenberger.

4. Cle- QB- Derek Carr- Fresno State
A bit of a surprise that Carr is #2 QB off the board. I think Cleveland has him ahead of both Manziel and Bridgewater.

5. Oak- WR- Sammy Watkins- Clemson
They don’t seem too high on Bridgewater or Manziel either. I expect them to go hard after Vick and take Tajh Boyd in the 4th round

6. *Stl (from Atl)- OT- Greg Robinson- Auburn
They manage to trade down and still get arguably the #1 player in the draft and fill their biggest need.

7. TB- QB- Teddy Bridgewater- Louisville
New coach has no loyalty to Mike Glennon. If Lovie Smith feels Bridgewater is the guy I don’t think he would hesitate taking him.

8. **NYG (from Min)- OT- Jake Matthews- Texas A&M
The Giants have a big need at OT, instead of waiting and hoping Lewan falls to #12, they move up and grab Matthews who is arguably one of the top 3-5 players in this draft.

9. Buf- OT- Taylor Lewan- Michigan
I strongly considered Manziel here but instead they solidify their OL. Ebron was another consideration.

10. Det- CB- Darqueze Dennard- Mich State
I think this comes down to CB vs WR. In such a strong WR class they take the best CB over Mike Evans

11. Ten- LB- Anthony Barr- UCLA
Great combination of talent and need, just makes a lot of sense.

12. **Min (from NYG)- DE- Kony Ealy- Missouri
Jared Allen and Everson Griffin are free agents, so they move down from #8 and grab a replacement while filling their QB need with their 2nd round pick.

13. Stl- S- Haha Clinton-Dix- Alabama
Another great mixture of talent and need.

14. Chi- DT- Aaron Donald- Pitt
Henry Melton is a free agent and Ratliff is ageing, Donald would be a disruptive force in the middle.

15- Pitt- WR- Mike Evans- Texas A&M
The Steelers are looking for a big outside WR and there are none better in this draft than Evans

16. Dal- S- Calvin Pryor- Louisville
This will come down to S vs DT (unless they pull out a shocker and draft Manziel. If it wasn’t for Romo’s contract I think they would). There is a bigger drop off at S so they go with Pryor, a physical presence over the middle.

17. Bal- WR- Marquise Lee- USC
Baltimore likes safe, big school players in the 1st round and Marquise Lee fits the bill.

18. NYJ- TE- Eric Ebron- UNC
The Jets need to surround Geno Smith with some weapons, this will come down to Ebron vs a WR like Cooks. Ebron is the much higher rated player.

19. Mia- OL- Zach Martin- ND
Miami has to address their OL, Martin is the best available.

20. ***Cin (from Ari)- QB- Johnny Manziel- Texas A&M
Shocker, Cinci isn’t sold on Dalton and I don’t think anyone would expect Johnny Football to be available at this point. The Bengals take Manziel and let the year play out with Dalton, if he doesn’t step up they have a reasonably priced replacement.

21. GB- DT- Timmy Jernigan- FSU
GB seems to be moving away from the 330lb DT’s and going towards more athletic interior D-lineman. Jernigan would be a nice fit next to Datone Jones.

22. Phi- DE/OLB- Dee Ford- Auburn
I think they fill their need at safety in free agency and go after a pass rusher in the draft. Dee Ford would be a good fit and is the best pass rusher available.

23. KC- WR- Odell Beckham Jr- LSU
KC needs a WR opposite Dwayne Bowe and Beckham is arguably the best available. A versatile weapon that would help on offense and special teams.

24. ***Ari- OT- Morgan Moses- Virginia
Arizona really needs to address OT and with Kouandijo falling down boards, Morgan Moses may be the best available.

25. SD- CB- Justin Gilbert- Okla State
SD needs CB help and Gilbert is a steal at #25

26. Cle- ILB- CJ Mosley- Alabama
Biggest steal of the draft so far, I think Mosley is a top 10 player in this draft and fills a position of need. They can fill their WR need in the 2nd or 3rd round.

27. NO- OLB- Kyle Van Noy- BYU
Van Noy is a fringe 1st rounder and fills a position of need.

28. Car- CB- Jason Verrett- TCU
Carolina have a couple of free agent CB’s, Verrett would be a nice replacement/upgrade if they sign elsewhere. In a deep WR class they can fill that need in the 2nd or 3rd round.

29. NE- DT- Ra’Shede Hageman- Minn
He’s got the size, athleticism and talent to be an elite defensive lineman, but he has only be playing DT for a few years and is still very raw and inconsistent. That gives the Pats a chance to get a player they would never have a chance to get talent wise under other circumstances.

30. SF- WR- Brandin Cooks- Oregon State
They need a deep threat and slot WR to compliment Boldin and Crabtree, Cooks would be ideal.

31. Den- CB- Kyle Fuller- Virginia Tech
They just relseased Champ Bailey and DRC is a free agent. From a Pats perspective I hate this pick but would be fantastic for Denver.

32. Sea- WR- Kelvin Benjamin- FSU
They need to give Wilson some more weapons and Benjamin has the potential to be a big time WR.

33. Hou- TE- Jace Amaro- Texas Tech
They now have their QB, RB and two WR’s, they are just a quality TE away from having a great offense again.

34. *****NE (from Wash)- NT- Louis Nix III- ND
Washington moves down to grab some extra picks and Pats move up to solidify their D-line. Nix would have arguably been the top DT last year and a top 10 pick, injury and lack of demand for NT’s will drop him down and make him the biggest steal in the draft. Perfect replacement for Wilfork.

Trades
*Stl trades 1(2) to Atl for 1(6) + 2(37) + 2015 1st
**Min trades 1(8) to NYG for 1(12) + 3(74)
***Ari trades 1(20) to Cin for 1(24) + 4(119) + 2015 4th
****New England trades QB Ryan Mallett to Minnesota for 2(40) + conditional 2015 pick
*****Wash trades 2(34) to NE for 2(40) + 4(126)

Pats Draft
1(29). DT- Ra’Shede Hageman- Minnesota
2(34). NT- Louis Nix III- ND

3(77)- C- Weston Richburg

6(190)-CB- Aaron Colvin- Oklahoma
6c. FB- Trey Millard- Oklahoma

WR- Sidney Rice
C/G- Ted Larsen

While I would love to add a pass rush specialist DT I just can’t pass up the opportunity to get both Hageman and Nix. These two would allow us to play any defensive front we want and give as a huge amount of versatility. The combination of a stout anchor in the middle next to a long, explosive 3 or 5 tech would be a huge upgrade. I believe both are 3 down players and are far more talented than their draft positions suggest. Nix’s 2012 tape shows a top 10 talent and potentially elite NT. Luckily for us he’s had some injury troubles this year and NT’s aren’t valued highly, allowing us to get an absolute steal! Hageman will fall because he is still raw and inconsistent. Considering he was recruited as a TE, moved to DE and has only been playing DT for a couple of years I think I can look past those issues for the upside. He has the physical talent to be one of the best DT’s in the NFL and I think with professional coaching he could be our Mohammed Wilkerson.

TE is a need I think will be difficult to fill in free agency with a lot of the top guys unlikely to be available. I think 62 is a good spot to land one of the top 4, and while I would prefer ASJ I would be happy to settle for Niklas. Being such a deep draft and the likelihood that next year will be considerably weaker, I have no issue with trading forward a future pick. I would be happy to spend a 2nd round pick on Richburg (although I would prefer Marcus Martin if available) so grabbing him in the 3rd for a 2015 2nd is a pretty good deal.
Grimble and Murray are two high upside backups that I would really like to develop and I think Sunseri could make the team as at least a special teamer. The rest are just lottery tickets and guys coming off injury that we could redshirt for a year.

I loved your effort, Willfolk and hope to God it comes to fruition. I'd probably do it a bit differently after the Richburg pick, because I'd be looking for the DE with the highest upside potential regardless of risk, and I don't care if we draft another TE and/or QB. But that's just nitpicking. If by some miracle we could had Hageman, Nix, Nickolas, and Richburg, with our first 4 picks, I wouldn't give an F, whose names were called after that. But I do love that at the end of the draft you picked high risk high reward guys. If even one panned out it would be worth it.

I do have a few small nit picks in your Pats FA signings. Either JE or DA is going to be here, not both. Personally I think it will be DA. If only because the main board desperately needs someone to hate on. The other one is not bring back Svitek. Re-signing him as the swing T, allows Cannon to go to RG, which allows Connolly to be cut or ideally resigned but, paid as a back up C/G. Now you don't have to resign Wendell because you can start Connolly while Richburg gets up to speed. (another option is to cut Connolly completely and resign Wendell as the back up interior OL/man)

But the key to all this is the re-signing of Svitek as the back up swing T
