1(21)-Bobby Carpenter, LB, Ohio State
2(52)-Joseph Addai, RB, LSU
3(75)-Will Blackmon, CB/WR, Boston College
3(86)-Spencer Havner, LB, UCLA
4(105)-Josh Lay, CB, Pittsburgh
4(117)-Anthony Montgomery, NT, Minnesota
5(135)-Pat Ross, C, Boston College
6(181)-Ed Hinkel, WR, Iowa
7(212)-Calvin Lowry, S, Penn State

Carpenter is a Patriot-type who can play inside or outside. Good size/speed combo. Father played when Belichick was with Giants in New York. Smart/Tough player with good size/speed combo.

Addai is a tough runner with good speed. Can also catch ball, as Patriots demand

Blackmon is a great athlete who can help in two spots the Patriots have needs and can play special teams

Lay is a solid corner with good size and speed

Havner is an athlete who'll need some work. Good speed and skills, but needs to bulk up for NFL. Will play special teams for a few years

Montgomery dominates at times. Size and strength. Patriots need a solid backup NT

Ross is a solid player, not quite as good as Koppen but BC linemen do well in NFL. Koppen a FA in a year.

Hinkel a tough, quick possession receiver. Team leader type who is unafraid to make catches over the middle. Third down receiver type with good size. Scrappy type

Lowry is a smart centerfield who hasn't gotten a ton of attention, but is a good player. Good size as well. Could be a sleeper.

Good Mock.

I love Addia in the second. He also plays ST, which is huge for the Pats.

Blackmon is a good pick. He's also a good KR/PR man. We need a little help there.

Havner is a tackling machine. If BB and staff works with him, then hopefully he can make those tackles 2 yards after the LOS, instead for 7 as he did when he was at UCLA. Your right, he'll need to get stronger, much stronger for the NFL.

Ross would be great for depth at C.

The biggest change I would make is losing Carpenter in the first and putting in Whitworth instead.
