Interesting piece from David Rifkin, who served under Reagan and Lee Casey, who served under George... argue that the prez has a right to appoint advisors with no congressional ovesight..

This op ed provides some balance and sanity to this argument..

Whatever he is he's driving the Liberal Democrats nuts.

ANTI OBAMA Journalist's, Bloggers, Talk Radio etc etc all have the same rights to "Expose, Slander and Destroy" just as was done to Bush by the Left Wing Media and all the Sore Losing Bush Hater Democrats.

Obama is just another President he isn't Jesus.

Beck is only doing what Franken, Stewart, Letterman, NY Times, NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS and on and on did to Bush only Beck is much better at it............

It is just precious when Liberals use GW Bush, OF ALL PEOPLE, to defend what Mr. Change is doing.

Besides, the point about the czars isn't the number of them but many of them are total pyscho freaks.

    HAHAHAHAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Libs consider revealing information about WHAT A PERSON HAS WRITTEN AND SAID PUBICLY, as slander, OTOH a smear job on Robert Bork and Thomas were fine....:singing:

    What a joke.

The diff is before the dems had the MSM carrying water for them, now with the internet and cable and the dying MSM they no longer have a lock on information going to the public.

Were you hoping that people have forgotten Bork doesn't believe in an inherent right to privacy?

No matter how many times you repeat that Harry, it won't change the fact that Bush was allowed to govern up till his brilliant plan to attack Iraq, while Clinton was given a few months and Obama hadn't even unpacked before your pals were in full obstruct mode.

Why would anyone like the fact that a president of any party, can appoint tens of czars to positions, to escape the scrutiny of congress? I think this is a situation where people would understand a couple appointments in certain situations. However, we've reached a point where there's a czar for everything. I'm not fan of how far it's gone.

The word CZAR should be interned, along with a few other words that are thrown around.. my concern is the selective outrage with this whole thing, George had advisors that escaped scrutiny...

the comments or Eric Cantor are telling, and hypocritical as we have come to expect..

All the while George had his own personal army of advisors.. my own personal favorite were the 4 "faith based" and "abstinence" czars.. all of these dudes are just as partisan as Obama's...

And once again, Liberals use "George Did It" as an excuse for Mr. Change to be doing it. Truly the lamest excuse ever.

This is such a baffelingly ignorant thing to be complaining about. Our system depends on three separate branches of government being independent of each other. If one has all the authority then we might as well just pack it in and start calling Congress the Politburo.

Or we could just make it that Congress itself exclusively appoints the President and can fire him at any time. This way all of the President's staff will be indirectly approved by Congress. That seems to be working ok for England, but while we're adopting British ways might I suggest gun control and UHC while we're at it?

Cabinet Officers have specific, legally-defined powers and responsibilities independent of the President, and Congress decides who needs to be approved by them, not the President. Czars have as much freedom of action as the Brazilian chick who vacuums the Oval Office carpet at night.

Brazilian are you sure....how well was she vetted....she might be a communist, or a socialist fascist.

Anyways it seems rather odd that all of a sudden "czars" are such a problem they never were when Nixon, Ford, Reagon, Bush, and Bush had them.

    I like your sig. clever.
