The tackle by Mike Wright on an almost TD was amazing. He had run a good ways....at least 30-40 yards before he made that tackle....needless to say, he was flying for a big dude.

How fine a line for a guy like him...a bit small and short for DT and more suited to DE but without that explosive first 2 steps and again the height.

Definitely an improved version of Dan Klecko however IMO.

I looked up his pro day numbers...here they are:
These numbers don't look like the guy that made that tackle...is he faster now....is he a future 265 lb ILB for the future? Anuone who saw that had to be impressed ... especially considering the distance he ran before that tackle.

Height: 6'3"
Weight: 295
Vertical: 36"
B-Jump: 10'
10 x 2 : 1.70 & 1.69
20 x 2 : 2.89 & 2.90
40 x 2 : 4.83 & 4.80

225 bench: 26 reps

20 SHUTTLE: 4.51
60 sHUTTLE: N/A

3 Cone: 7.44

he moves well and already made more plays than Klecko. I can't see him ever moving to LB, maybe corner to spot Troy Brown.. no seriously I don't see a move. DL is our strongest position and since he is an ERFA we can ensure our depth continues.

He is also as strong as an ox, isn't he?

Can we please lock him up for short money now before he becomes another David Givens Problem?
