I missed the game...caught some highlights on RedZone and NFL Network. And now Mike Reiss is cranking out article after article at 15 minute intervals. Great team and great coverage by Mike. Like BB in the NFL, Mike has set the standard for "new media" sports coverage.

Mike Reiss has been bringin' it for years. That guy was diligent and responsive even back in his time with the MetroWest Daily News some years back...I can remember getting email replies from the guy when I had questions for him. Always a professional and resposible reporter.

Some will fault him by saying he's in the Pats back pocket and isn't critical enough of the organization, but I think he calls it like he sees 'em. I think he sees his role as a reporter to provide accurate and timely info rather than serve up conjecture and opinions like a columnist would. I'm glad that's the way he looks at it.

And, no I ain't related, but I is short.
