#24 - Reggie Nelson
#28 - Chris Houston

He thinks the Raiders are drafting Calvin Johnson and JaMarcus Russell falls to the Browns. Jets pick David Harris at #25.

I'd rather have David Harris at #24 and not let the Jets have him.

I'd prefer Harris over Nelson too. Oh well, we love Mayock for his player analysis, not his ability to draft for the Pats.

I think if SP/BB think Nelson is a better player for us than Harris, that is good enough for me.

Sure, but right now it's Mayock that thinks they're better. I've heard so many rumblings about Nelson's mental shortcomings that I'd be pretty stunned if he goes to NE. Plus, he won't last, too many teams will only see his physical presence and try to take him mid-round. In some other types of D he's thrive, but in BB's read and respond D he might get lost. Nelson is not as good as Meriweather and after BB's comments on the radio today about being more concerned if a dude has learned from his mistakes than what those transgressions were, it's clear (or a smoke screen, or a double smoke screen) that Meriweather isn't going to be ruled out due to Kraft's "no thugs" rule.

as Seymour93 pointed out, Jones is being shopped around. They want Marion Barber to take the starting role, and draft another rookie to groom.
