I just read that Mike Ditka just suffered a stroke. I heard it was minor. As much as I dislike the guy I hope he has a speedy recovery. Come on, Iron Mike. Get well soon.

I wish him well, too. But I do wonder, medically speaking, how they could tell.

The best TE in NFL history to date and a great coaching mind

Best wishes that this minor stroke does not lead to other ailments

wow...remind me to pay up in full if I'm ever treated at YOUR clinic...dyam, man...that's cadaver cold

I'm usually not that mean, and I thought twice about posting it ... but I've never been a Ditka fan. I wish him well in his recovery, but I'd be hypocritical to be saying more than that.

Of course, if it came down to a choice between Ditka and Buddy Ryan ... Iron Mike, all the way.

Best wishes for a fast and full recovery.

Hope for a speedy recovery.
Let's not get carried away with testimonials. He is never mentioned as one of the best tight ends in the game. He played during an era when the TE was not used in the throwing game and had good hands.
Had not Buddy Ryan been his assistant, not sure the Bears would have been at the level they achieved. Did nothing once Ryan left with the Bears or with the Saints.

Get well soon. Must of been those polish sausages.

Not true, he did trade an entire draft for one player. That is something .
