It's because of this MAC osx that it broke. I doubt if i can find it again. It said peasants had two weeks off a year more than the average American. I guess it was passed down to modern day Europeans who have at least twice a much vacation time as we do.

I don't get it. Peasants had vacation time? Who employed them?

There was a gas shortage they went to the park. Maybe work on their survival skills in preparation for PEASANT season. :D

Nothing like a good stoning,or witch burning to bring the family together. Afterwards the kids could toast their rat on a stick. :rocker:

Yeah but Flex, if us working suckers took more time off, then all the welfare cases wouldn't be able to stay home as much as they do. Where's your compassion bro? :D

I guess you could make a case that the welfare cases are the NEW peasants. If Qui Gon were still here he call for open season on them. :D

It wasn't the wrong link, I have always had problems useing my wifes mac.
On a regular pc i just point at the headline and click before i cut and paste. With the Mac i have to drag the curser across the story line several times in some cases. On this story I thought i got the whole link, with the pc at work i would have. I'm just not use to Mac's

Then here's some advice. You don't have to drag across the link. Right click on the link and choose copy link. Then right click where you want it and choose paste.

The days off were usually Holy Days prescribed by the Church - two weeks sounds like an underestimate to me. Medieval serfs wouldn't have used a lot of money; they'd have farmed their Lord's land and kept the surplus after he took his take (a bit like working for the mafia - just with swords) and there was a lot of barter. In case you're feeling envious, they ate less meat, salt or white bread in a year than we do in a week, couldn't leave their land, own property or marry without their Lord's permission and usually died before they turned 40. If you were a woman it was even worse!
