Ladies and Gentlemen:

PatsFans is full of opinions. They started last year and will never end. Meanwhile, the Pats best performance just ended and a new optimism, I suspect, will begin to proliferate. So...

What is the state of affairs?

Media will tell you the team is decline, despite savvy replenishing of skill positions, most notably Laurence Maroney, who has thus far been the most exciting addition to the NFL.

TBC, a player whose contribution I am interested in your opinion, ....

Wait, let me consolidate, I tend to get verbose and lose interest:

This off-season concerns:

LB: Should we have drafted? What will TBC do? Rosie healthy? Tedy? Seau?
So...? What of it? Do you still wish we had Carpenter, Lawson, etc?

RB: Dillon done? No. Maroney...Listen: Best draft pick of 2006. End of story.

WR: I'm curious about this, and the debate will never end. Are we protecting our young wr and playing smart? Or are we fans and narrow-minded?

DB: Your guess is as good as mine. In fact, your guess is as good as most NFL GMs.
