Would like to see Vick's side of the story. Who knows, maybe he bounced after this "q" guy showed up and started making a scene. Maybe he exchanged a few words and left. Maybe he was involved in the arguing outside before leaving. Wouldn't a mall parking lot have some sort of camera's rolling? Hope for Vick's sake he handled it responcibly and left quickly. He shouldn't be held accountable for jerk showing up to one of the many places (or so it sounds) he was partying at that night. It'll be interesting to see how crazy Herr Goodell goes after setting the "No Scumbags" precedent with Big Ben. On the other hand, maybe he did shoot this guy. After all, dungy was mentoring him, and look how well that worked out for Marvin...

Yes, there'e no way Herr Goodell should hold Vick responsible for someone else coming to where Vick was (not in Vick's control) and then geting shot AFTER Vick left.

But yet again, the after 2AM law holds.

Thats ridiculous. Where is anyone basing anything on Vicks race? Its based on Vicks actions. The fact that the questionable actions were committed by an African American is rrelevant. His entourage, his posse, his associates, his ego strokers, his parties with vested interests or whatever they choose to call themselves- somebody in the group did it and it is going to bite Vick in the butt. what? How do you know that this guy is part of his posse? Were you similarly up in arms when someone claimed to have gotten shot at Tom Brady's wedding? These guys can't control what everyone around them does all the time, and we have no idea what the circumstances surrounding all of this were. Way to hold of and learn the facts before you tear a guy apart though, that's super reasonable and mature of you.

Well, if they're still around, Vick was publicly warned about that by the Commissioner as part of his reinstatement. I think we have to wait until all the evidence is in to see whether they were there because Vick invited them or weather they heard about his party and decided to hang around.

That said in Vick's defense, I think that if he was part of planning a big party for his birthday in a party town in the summer, then he exercised bad judgment.

He's hanging by a thread in the NFL and, given the people who have flocked to him in the past, he was just inviting trouble even if the individuals weren't on the invitation list.

Never seen anyone mention Ben Roethlesberger's cultural background in relation to his being a scumbag. Guess as long as he stays away from his old "hood" and his "posse" of good ole boy friends...who are also a bunch of "thugs"...he'll stay out of trouble and ultimately be forgiven for being a rapist.
