Michael Felger: Time to run Moss out of town

The only difference between you and Ditka is that Ditka has actually proved he is clueless running an NFL franchise.

well..i dont claim to know more than him but i dont find him particularly insightful. just my 2 cents.

I think Nawrocki's one of the best draftnik's out there, but I think he's all wrong on this one. Knowing that Mike Ditka disagreed makes me even more certain that BB did the right thing. He ignores the fact that the incident happened immdiately following a Monday team meeting in which BB stressed the need for players to put in more effort including longer practice hours.

Ditka is the anti-Belichick: a shoot-from-the-hip guy who is overly emotional and not too bright. He has as much self-reflection as a rock.

There is NO bigger Patriot/BB hater out there than Mike Ditka. I listened to quite a bit of his "analysis" on ESPN during the 2007 season and afterwards, and try as he may he is incapable of masking his utter contempt for BB and everything Patriots.

I'd like nothing better than to run Felger out of town. What a phony and hypocrit.

Can we close the thread? This d-bag already got too much attention

So getting Moss off this team will make Patriots better? All this rah-rah about Welker, and please don't take this wrong way, I love the guy to death, you think Welker will be as effective without Moss constantly getting so much attention? How about Patriots get decent third receiver who wasn't converted from QB and actual pass rushing specialist? If it wasn't for Moss, Pats wouldn't be in position to make playoffs this year to begin with.

I'm surprised no-one (unless I missed it) agrees with Felger. Because I kind of do. As stated before, if the Moss we saw against Carolina is what shows up the rest of the season I don't think he'll be back. I think it's better than 50-50 that Moss will shape up; but if he doesn't, Belichick won't put up with this for the whole of 2010.

Felger has been looking for a chance to run Moss out of town since he got here. Remember when he said, during Moss' first TC here, that he's dogging it in practice?

Time to run felger out of town.

Time to run felger out of town.

GREAT suggestion.............I cannot stand the guy anymore after having once upon a time enjoyed his writing, analysis and commentary, before he tried to go hollywood.

Felger can go lick his dogs azz ... it's about time we stick by our team instead of letting the media tear them apart. I'd like to see Felger in the slot going over the middle ... I bet lots of players would. You suck goat balls Felger ... and you suck them raw.

I am also of the "run Felger out of town" camp. I wonder if we can start a petition to make this happen?

Felger is good buddies with Belichick they are often seen out together petition won't work

B.S. If that's a serious observation, your credibility is so far below zero it's coming around toward zero on the other side...

Time to run FELGER out of town.......

Running him out of town seems a wee bit harsh.

Felger has been beating the "Moss is a dog" drum since Randy got here.

Up until Sunday I never felt he had a leg to stand on. But with the way Randy dogged it against the Panthers makes Felger's claims somewhat legitimate.

Although I'm sure BB and the Pats will do everything to fix this, but if they can't and Moss loafs threw another couple of Sundays, what choice will the Patriots have?

Sounds like Dallas' version of Randy "Doom and Gloom" Galloway - who kept beating the Terrell 'Ed Doraldo' Owens drums the minute he was signed here.

Like I mentioned on another thread - Owens, ultimately, was labeled as the SCAPEGOAT here in Dallas(despite all his antics) - otherwise, nothing has changed here. Romo can't make critical plays still and has trouble protecting the football still, Dallas still sucks in Dec still, this football team is still unfundamentally unsound, and this DESPITE a peaceful locker room.

Time to run FELGER out of town.......

The guy screwed up but even Tomase is better than Felger. I'm glad he went to 98.5 because I don't have to listen to him squeal with that my underwear is too tight voice. The only guy who is worse than Felger is Gresch ... they actually deserve each other in a hot tub.

I can't stand felger, its hard to watch "sports late night" because hes on the show.
I'm in total aggrement with you on Gresh, i can't STAND listenign to him, i won't listen to the pre-game or post game radio show because of Gresch.
I can't take listenign to his sanctimonious B.S. He was an O-lineman at Rhody, the way he talks you would think he was an all pro. Then theres his tenth grade attempt at humor.

What i don't understand is that its known that people really dislike felger, borges, gresh and they get to have tehir own shows on tv and radio. I'm not asking for a homer, i want someone who's objective.

As far as Moss goes. It wasn't as much his play on the field (i think hes hurt too) it was the attitude on the bench. Even if he was hurt thers no excuse for that.

As I've said before, Felger is a crap stirrer. Between the tardiness issue and the poor play this weekend, the Patriots, along with Moss and Thomas, have made his job easy to start off the month.

To tell you the truth,Outside of Brady and Welker who are locks on the 2010 team, I think there is NOT ONE OTHER PLAYER on this team that is a sure thing or lock of being on the team if he does not play well the rest of the year....and yes, that includes Moss.

if Moss leaves

get ready for a .500 season
