UPDATED ON AUGUST 19th

A) I waived Worthy, although he seems like to back on the squad after a couple of days, when a player is put on the IR To Return List.

B) Anderson is healthy. I put him on the roster instead of Beauharnais (as was suggested).

It's a new week.
I have Devey beating out Kline. I have all the 4th rounders making the team. I can't see cutting Vellano. I don't see a lot of controversy.

Beauharnais over Anderson?

I don't particularly like either one of those jags...is there a door # 3?

That looks about right to me. LIke you, I don't see a lot of controversy. I have no earthly idea between Devey and Kline or even how I would even going about comparing the two.

My two candidates for "surprise cuts" are Ridley and Mallett. I'm not expecting it, but it wouldn't be total shock.

I expect roster spots to be cleared for both Browner and Tyms at the end of the first four weeks, but I'm sure that injuries will create some spots.

I'm not a great Bolden fan but he looked smooth and powerful on Friday. Finch for Bolden? No thanks.

I tend to agree, but I can't see BB going into the year with only one RB signed into 2015. I think Finch finds a way onto the team in lieu of Boyce, but something else has to give. I might as well take a stab at this:

Good baseline.

Beauharnais might be beaten out by somebody whose name is easier to spell.
One of the safeties might be sacrificed to make room at another position, perhaps OL, TE, or LB.
Ditto one of Bolden or Finch.

If Anderson is healthy, I am certainly fine with him instead of Beauharnais.
I agree that one of the safeties could go to free up a spot (for me Anderson or Worthy).

Tyms & Browner on suspension
Assumes Stork is not on IR

Practice Squad
RB Jonas Gray
RB Ray Finch
WR Jeremy Gallon
OG Jon Halapio
DT Joe Vellano
LB Cameron Gordon
DB Jemea Thomas
DB Travis Hawkins
Keeping DJ Williams pending review of final TE releases - which are likely to be younger less-experienced players. May want Williams, with his (limited) experience in the system. I think they need depth at TE in this offense.
Keeping both Devey and Kline and taking the $850K hit on Wendell, based on where the coaches have been playing them.
Keeping Moore at DE based on preseason playing time, but he might go if they need a spot.
Keeping Worthy if he is healthy given the desire to rotate at DE and DT.
Fleming over Beauharnais.
Chung over Wilson.

What has Will Smith done to earn a roster spot? He has done nothing in 2 games, and is 0-11 in 1on1 drills during practice.

Worthy does not qualify for PUP.

Tavon Wilson has outperformed every starting safety candidate in training camp, spent the offseason training with Revis, McCourty and Ryan, and he played very well in the preseason opener. There is a better chance of him starting than him being cut.

Vellano does not qualify for the practice squad.

In fairness to Anderson he is not really a JAG, you could call him past his prime but he was a very good pro for a number of years in the NFL.

Cannon hasn't had many reps at G in preseason game or practice action. The idea of him being the starting RG seems to be more of an internet fan hope than anything the coaching staff has been seriously considering.

And given the lack of TE's, I'd expect that they will be using 3 OT's on a number of plays, with one of them kicking out to be the #2 TE.

If they wanted Cannon to be a full time RG, one would think they'd be getting him as many reps as possible there.

Assuming projected health and after week 4.

Thomas, Gallon and Halapio go on the PS. I'd like to keep all our late round rookies if possible.

Do I need more coffee? You've got the team carrying six wideouts but only have five listed?

Slater. The program didn't allow me to put him under ST and I had to do a c+p to move him. I forgot to switch the WR and ST numbers when I did that. It's now been fixed. Thanks for the heads up.
