Sounds suspicious.. they cannot carry guns, they have no jurisdiction, they have no arrest powers, they have no authority .. the whole thing sounds very fishy.. of course it is being reported in the well known and highly respected, "American Free Press"... it is also being reported equally well known and respected in "Prison Planet":rolleyes::rolleyes:

Sounds like more internet hysteria again, from half baked sites.. that have no credibility in a sane world.

    From the NY Post:

Consulate personnel does not equal law enforcement..

Interesting that since the NBC/CathExaminer coverage, officials, msm, and others are making a concerted effort to tone the whole situation down.

Like I said, I hope they're not from the same police force as the ones who murdered the mayor.

I don't even like the fact that Harvard, Boston University, BC and maybe a hundred other schools around here call their private security guards "police", if this is real it ain't good.

No it isn't good and there's no real reason to think it's hype, in fact it's getting downplayed from it's original reporting. This is as "untrue" as the sheriff who said bp was told to stand down was "untrue". I post these things once in awhile but nobody seems to get it. Really good point about campus "police" btw (they used to be called campus security and we all made fun of them:D), what's happening, albeit gradually, is not a good trend.

In all seriousness, I hope the NY PD runs into them in the streets and beats them up a little....old NY style.:D Get them the hell off our streets.

That makes a lot of sense, then the police can be convicted of a slew of charges and spend a whole lot of time behind high walls...

I wonder what the NYPD boots-on-the-ground think of this. If I see anything more I'll post it, and no PR, I don't think your suggestion is a wise one. Well, unless you'd like to see martial law or something like it. I doubt anyone in Staten wants LRAD's moseying down their streets.

So you did not read the article, that is the gist of the problem, violence.. if you encourage violence or let someone commit violence, you are commit a crime.. that is called conspiracy.

This is the role of NY Police, and there is little information on the role of the Mexican Consulate.. they cannot carry guns, they have no police powers, they have no jurisdiction..

When the power of the police is abdicated to another group, anarchy ensues..
