I just want this over please. The NFL needs to come forward. How incompetent can they be?! Seriously.
You ask for incompetence, Theo, I give you the NFL under Roger Goodell.

I wouldn't want to play Poker with either of those guys.I was thinking yesterday Curran was in on the PC before everyone else.
He asked the majority of the questions, got "roasted" for it and was in great spirits despite that afterwards and now he pulls the Jets connection out of nowhere.
Remember BB & Curran have friendly jabs at each other in weekly pressers (the Golf shoe "incident" a couple of months back for example).
He sat in the front row. I am convinced of this.On WEEI today Curran joked that he took some shrapnel and said it was part of the business ...
So absolutely ... was like the Godfather calling the mortician to cash in on the favor to fix Sonny.
And, just maybe, the "video" evidence the NFL referenced in its vague statement on Friday refers to the Colts sideline. Can I suggest a theory:
Landing us where we are now.
- Ravens warn Colts of Patriots playing with under inflated footballs.
- Colts come to Foxboro looking to cause trouble over this.
- As BB noted, our footballs were at 12.5 but deflated as BB described by about 1-1.5 psi naturally
- Jackson intercepts ball and as he described he didn't notice any problems
- As has been noticed in a number of places, it's next to impossible to detect a loss of 1 psi by feel
- Knowing this and knowing that he won't be able to get Refs attention, the Colts' kit person (or whomever got his hands on the ball) lets out another 1 psi so that the ball feels a little softer and takes that to a Ref already primed about our deflated footballs.
- The ref has been forewarned about this issue by the Colts and feels the now softer football, puts two and two together and thus tests all the balls.

Not just the vaccuum but the apparently absolute faith he has in whatever the league has to say on this — after all the bungling they've done....
The vacuum/bubble that media people like King live in is comical. What makes it utterly hilarious is he doesn't know about the bubble and takes his importance very seriously.......
