Pete Najarian linebacker for the Vikings remember him he just tweeted me and said this about the game..I love RavensDefense, but Brady and those TE's are a tough match for anybody, including Baltimore..

More breer in response to tomcurran's article on BB

AlbertBreer Albert Breer
Really enjoyed this piece from @tomecurran on Belichick's legacy, even if we disagree a bit on the dent Spygate leaves csnne.com/blog/patriots-…

@AlbertBreer @tomecurran As long as ideologues like Breer try to tell us Spygate matters. The less credibility that "witch hunt" has.

@GeorgeCain72 You're biased. I'm not. A lot of NFL folks thought NE got off easy. It's over now. But it'll remain a part of his legacy

It is hilarious, in 2003 & 2004 when the Patriots were stacked you could always find some jackass to pick against them (Merrell Hodge anyone?).

And now it is a landslide for the Pats, pretty weird,

Teed up? So are half the things athletes say these days, if you want to look for imperfect grammar. Most people know you only make yourself look rude by pointing that stuff out, especially in public.

It was just someone tweaking someone else over a double negative. Lighten up.

Yes, I know what he was doing. And doing so on that stage is boorish, IMO.

Thanks for the advice though. Last thing we need around here is people who take everything too seriously. ...

Maybe that's offset by Michael Silver picking Baltimore.

I'm surprised every time I see someone picking Baltimore to win with more than 30 points. I think a case can be made that the Ravens might hold down the Pats offense, but for their offense to score more than 30 against the NE D would be a big surprise to me.

I agree. Only one team put up 30 against the Patriots all season.

interesting stats on off first vs defense first playoff matchups

Rock vs. hard place: Who has the edge? | Cold Hard Football Facts

Interesting; looks at when "offense-first" teams play "defense-first" teams in the playoffs. Result it pretty even. And ...:

When the ('defense firsts") won, they scored an average of 29.1 points and allowed an average of 15.1 – a surprising 14-point average margin. The defensive teams had their cake and ate it too.
But when the ("offense firsts") won, they largely did it with defense. Three of the six teams allowed single digits, and the average score was 25.2-15.1.

Playing along with the Pats as "offense first," I have to think it's more likely the NE D clamps down than the Baltimore O breaks out.

Dolphins(Marine Mammal) Predict Giants and Patriots Will Win Sunday

Lily the dolphin nodded her head "no" when asked if the San Francisco 49ers would beat the New York Giants. She clapped and splashed around when asked if the NY team would get the win. And Shaka fetched the Patriots football over the Ravens football in the water when asked who'd get the win in the AFC game.

Now i am not worried about Rex Ryans prediction ;)

Re: Dolphins(Marine Mammal) Predict Giants and Patriots Will Win Sunday

But can Lily...

... rush the passer!!!!!!?????? :bricks: :scared:

I am baffled that so many experts continue to underestimate the 49ers.

Yeah, I am shocked more people are not picking the 49ers too. I hope they win because I am tired of the Giants and hearing about 07. They served their purpose to beat the Packers and that is it...lol
