Has anyone seen it yet or ordered the DVD? Media Malpractice How Obama Got Elected and Palin Was Targeted

The only pretty fair review I've heard was that it certainly did expose all things bad about the media, but it didn't address the role some of her answers/comments played in all of this and how much that may have fueled the media's fire.

There's a clip in the link.

There is unbiased media for both sides of the aisle. Both are equally persuasive.

Palin was targeted (initially) because people were intrigued and wanted to know more about her. She was for all intents and purposes the new kid in class. Once people started to realize how unqualified she was for such a high office, that's when the sharks moved in for the kill. Her inability to answer the most simplistic of questions was just blood in the water.

Not sure why even now, people feel the need to pin Palin’s collapse on anyone but Palin. it was painfully obvious very early on, the women just wasn’t ready/able to serve as VP. Anyone who couldn’t see that was/is simply lying to themselves.

Sarah Palin Unplugged on the Media

A clip of Sarah's interview with Ziegler. The media really did a number on her and no matter your political affiliation, they were out of control and it was wrong. Journalism SHOULD be fair and intelligent but it certainly fell short here.

Palin wasn't ready, as it turned out. But the media's vetting (or lack thereof) of Obama was abysmal.

I liked when she called the media another government lol. She's probably right too.

How did the media become so powerful anyway? It's mind-boggling, even as far back as Walter Kronkite's final message about Vietnam. His statement caused even LBJ to say (about the war) "We've just lost the American people", and he was right.

Despite the best efforts of the right wing; Fox News, NewsMax, Worldnet, Rush and the rest of the pundits made a great effort.. they failed.. see "palling around with terrorists" that got so much play it was incredible, the nirth certificate truthers.. on and on.. Palin should not whine or cry, on Fox today.. there was a story about what happened to the 150K wardrobe.. and that was a biased source.. she made so many faux pas, she never should have been put out there.

McCain should have vetted his candidate, and he has to live with his crappy choice..

No but I watched (much to my horror) MSNBC/CNN and didn't see near enough coverage of what Obama was really about, from his questionable friendships to his belief in big government/spending. I never saw it discussed that we would have a Democrat President and large majority in Congress to give one party almost unfettered power. I knew what he was but I'm not sure enough voters did.

Sarah wasn't ready for such a high office so the scumsucking bastard left wing liberal Obama ballwashing media goes after her 17 year old daughter, reminds me of the "Jenna Bush Beer"

They didn't go after her because of her inexpieriance they went after her because they saw a "threat" and the slimey rats still do because they know SHE WILL BE BACK.

They crucifed her because they are scared of her, Pant Suit Hillary sh!ts her boxer shorts every time she hears her name.

Before the election, the "mainstream" media refused to cover his relationship with Rev. Jeremiah Wright. You also didn't hear much about his relatioinship with Bill Ayers and his other Chicago cronies.

Even today, we still don't know many things about Barack Obama.

Just WHO exactly is Barack Obama.

    WHERE was he born?

Why does he still refuse to show is true birth certificate (signed and sealed)?

Why is he sending high-powered lawyers to conceal his Occidental University college record?

How many brothers and sisters does he have?

How many illegal relatives does he have in this country (besides Aunt Zucchini)?

The media should be so powerful. It needs to hold the government to account. However, it is completely broken. Some might complain about them not vetting Obama and crucifying Palin, but it also stood silent as we went to war in Iraq when there was MASSIVE amounts of information available to show that it was all a mistake.

It should always be challenging the status quo, but the simple truth is that it is now almost completely corporate owned and conformist. It doesn't do it's job anymore.

Values: in both the government and in the media -- not to mention in academia, where all the young get their heads turned this way or that -- have lost their way. America used to have well-accepted common values based on the Judeo-Christian religious ethic. But after WWII everybody just wanted to enjoy life, and the Pandora's Box of self-serving "Me-First" mentality started to rise up.

Now, whether in governance, academia, or in news reporting, the dominant motivation is not to do public service, but to do personal self-aggrandizement: get the plum jobs, get the Pultizer, get the personal recognition.... the "Me Generation" writ large.

If not reversed it will be the end of America as the hope of the world.
