Never heard of him, well the MSM didn't consider it notable.

Yeah...I almost posted that yesterday. There was a picture of GWB crying during the ceremony. Powerful stuff.

I didn't post it because I didn't want to give NEM a chance to denigrate a hero, and I knew he would.

I mentioned Mike Monsoor in another thread that was trying to partrat Patreus as a "great general". This guy is a GREAT SOLDIER and a great human being. His love for his friends was so great that he gave himself so that they would live. Amazing. I'm sure anyone in the military would wince at being called a great anything in light of the sacrifice of this MAN.
His deeds should humble even the most arrogant among us.

And GWB cried during the ceremony, so I guess you got your wish, no?

Well said. There is a very good reason that Presidents and line officer salute MOH winners.

Shocking the lack of coverage of this man and the ceremony honoring him. Should have been the lead story on every newscast along with a spot telling the story of this great American.

    .

He's the kind of man who lives forever in the hearts and minds of all who knew him or who know about him. An exemplary patriot, a hero.

RIP, and all honor and dignity to Michael Monsoor.

More you being you. His story was in our paper both last week, as well as yesterday.

Ooops, here's more media sources who put this top story on their front:

    Wash. Post, 9 days ago:
SEAL Killed in Iraq To Get Medal of Honor

    MSNBC, 11 days ago:
Navy SEAL killed in Iraq to get Medal of Honor

    NY Times, 11 days ago:
Medal of Honor for Navy Seal in Iraq

The LA Times, some 19 months ago:
Petty Officer 2nd Class Michael A. Monsoor, 25, Garden Grove; Navy SEAL Killed in Combat in Ramadi

Seems the liberal media knew about him far sooner than you. Perhaps you should read more than National Review for your news. My, my, ... are you ever completely full of schyt.

No I won't personally attck the people in question most know exactly who they are. I will state that you are not one of the people I am referring to when I reference people who HATE our soldiers.

While we all know you hate the administration I don't recall you ever expressing hatred towards the soldiers themselves just the administration.

NEM challenged you to name names and provide evidence why you insist they hate soldiers. And here's you cowering above. Because you know no one has said that at all.

I'll assume your latest round of wrath is saved over from the Haditha threads, whereby no one said our soldiers were vile overall.

Just more you being you. An overdramatic drama queen.

FYI in my limited world knew all about this on the regular news, print news and internet.. it was not overlooked as it should not be.. this MSM stuff gets a tad sickening after a while.. in reality more and more information is provided via the internet and the other forms of media are suffering.
