have to be an insider to read it all. F that

He has the Pats taking:
23. New England Patriots (11-5): Clay Matthews, OLB, USC
Matthews' draft stock continues to soar. He's an instinctive playmaker who always seems to be in on the action. Most importantly for the Patriots, he is versatile enough to play multiple roles on defense, and he is a special-teams demon, as well.

47. New England (from SDG) Darius Butler CB Connecticut

58. New England William Beatty OT Connecticut

Good mocks make for great dreams. I like the picks as much as I can considering McShay is the my leasted hated ESPN draft guy. But what is all this UConn love?!?!?!?

William Beatty at #58 would be a steal. I love it but don't see it happening - hope I'm wrong. Either Matthews or Butler would be reasonable picks at #47. I don't think Matthews if worth #23 at this point, but it's early in the pre-draft stage.

For what it is worth based on need I doubt that a OT is picked on day one prior to an interior OL.

He is definately on track for the first two picks, postion wise.

McShay thinks Mathews is instinctive? There is a twist.
