That's what he said today at his press conference asked about BB. I CANNOT BELIEVE HE SAID THAT!!! What a load of utter horsesh!t. I am so glad these morons are coming to Foxboro -- Eagles, Steelers, Chargers. I hope the Patriots show no mercy whatsoever.

I can't believe it. I actually respected people like Hines Ward & McNabb. What a bunch of f**king jerks.

McNabb would never even have been in a Super Bowl if he played in a real conference.

He was speaking primarily in jest.

This isn't an LdT thing here. Move along.

we have to face it, anyone we played and beat the last 6 years will claim it was done unfairly.

Fair? no, it pisses me off

Maybe if he didn't try out his best Willie Beaman impersonation he would have it. What Rush Limbaugh said was wrong, but time has proven McNabb was overrated, injury prone crybaby.

Someone should've let McNabb know that as long as he has these choker tendencies and is throwing up on the field; he'll never get a ring.

I've got to give Peyton credit. As much as I dislike the guy, you don't see him crying about this and making excuses to why the Colts had lost to the Patriots in the past like the rest of these idiots.

I went to a concert in Philly right before the super bowl showing my Patriot Pride there are no words on how mad I am right now.

He didn't smile or laugh when he said it. Of course it was sarcasm, but it also was derisive.

Anyone who is insulting McNabb clearly did not see the conference. He said it at the end as a joke and it was completely unlike anything else that he said up to that point.

Mods, can we get this thread locked because I would hate to see someone get piled on for no reason?

Of course he did. And you are excluding everything else he said. This is a nonstory.

I watched it on ESPN just a few hours ago.. HE WAS JOKING!!

Actually he believes this happens frequently with other teams.. He also said (basically) "That even if you know the plays, you have to go out and perform"..

His manner was that he doesn't believe this is a big deal!

I saw the clip of his press conference made available on NFLN where he said that. He did not laugh or smile in what was shown. Perhaps they cut out what you're referring to, so I can't address it further than what I saw and heard. If that's the case, then blame NFLN for editing out of context.
