So what specifically do you disagree with in the WSJ article, the stuff he say sound farly sensible. What solutions would you propose?

Anyone who votes for McCain will get what they deserve. I'm a right leaning moderate and no way I vote for this guy ... he'll be the Grady Little of the Presidency ... decision by intuition. Not that Bush has been any better so we may be running for the barn on this one.

The fed is going to cut rates. He's only saying what the fed is eventually going to do again.

I think we should continue paying interest to the FED. I mean let them get rich. Let them earn interest on money the government could print for free.

Whoever gets elected is set up to look terrible, just like Jimmy Carter, leading to a Reagan.

In 2012 it's going to be another Republican, after this year's candidate gets screwed with multiple impossible situations.

While there is no "Easy Button" to fix everything right now, the consensus I read/hear is that rate cuts are appropriate to help the economy; we'll have to deal with whatever inflation that causes a little later.

You may not like him but unless you're voting third party, you have to like him more than HillObama if you lean right. At least I would think you do.

I'd love to know what part of this :

"As a presidential candidate, Sen. McCain has faced hostility from the political right because he voted against two rounds of Bush tax cuts. "I voted against the tax cuts because of the disproportional amount that went to the wealthiest Americans," he said on NBC's "Meet the Press" in January. He also said the tax cuts weren't matched by spending restraints, as he had wanted."

You don't like. It sounds right up your alley.

How much lower can rates be cut before the lender ends up owing the borrower each month? That particular tool has to be reaching the end of its usefulness. The only real, long term solution to our economic problems is increasing the supply of energy and getting the Federal debt back under control.

They 've been bailing out wallstreet and banks , they screw our power of buying , inflation is going up , the dollar is record low. The world is not happy of what we 've done to the dollar.

First off, bailing out wall street accomplishes two things for "the little man", it keeps 401Ks stronger which a lot of people have and it keeps more companies hiring (or less laying off). Business doing well is good for jobs.

Second, while a lot of inflation right now is gas prices, an equally big part is food prices and that's largely, not wholly, due to demands and price increases on producing food due to ethanol requirements. I keep telling you guys that the "fight on global warming" is going to be very costly and you're seeing just the beginning of it at the grocery store.
