Just reported that with some polls already closing McCain leads in the electoral tally by almost 3:1. Obama should just concede now. It would be best for everyone. Stop dragging this on.

LMAO Michael... it's a good sign that you can poke fun at the republican delusion-world.

I'd say this might be a long night for you, but I doubt that would be accurate. Welcome to Obama's America. Let the healing begin.

LOL, I think half his new voters actually think they won't have a mortgage payment next month - and they'll get to keep the house. And you called Michael delusional ? Seriously, I wonder who will be more disappointed - Republicans tonight or Democrats when they realize Obama won't be making things better.

You make some valid points BF. but I think all Americans are looking for is change & hope...in that order. Although it may only be temporary, we all know how Americans want what they want when they want it. So we go for the immediate gratification because God knows, we deserve it.

Then there is idea that Mr Obama will fulfil our HOPE that he will be a great president. After all, there is no guarantee that any previousl president would be great even before he entered office. If he does a poor job, he won't last more than 4 years. Just think about those who voted for Bush (W) for a second term!

That is the beauty of living in a democracy.

Sarah will be fine ... she can either stay in government or cash in on her experience. A book deal and a movie will set her up for life.

Was this a serious post? The point being is that there were no surprises involved in that early lead. It just so happened that states already known to be leaning to, or solidly in McCains camp, just happened to be projected first.

    Get a clue Michael.
