I just read today in the LA Times that some State Senator in Massachusett's is trying to limit the the amount of marshmallow fluff put into a "fluffernutter" served at schools. For those of you who do not know, a fluffernutter is a sandwich that is peanut butter on one side and marshmallow fluff on the other. First freedom fries and now this. The Government needs to stay off our menus. I don't know if I'm more perturbed about the politicians wasting time, or that the LA Times ran this story on page 4. I did enjoy reading about the fluffernutter. I told my wife, who has always lived in California, about how this was my favorite sandwich as a kid. She couldn't understand why they would serve it in schools. I ate it for lunch at least twice a week, that and porkscrap sandwiches. But that's another story.
