I'm saying an oxygen tax or water tax. how about tolls to go from town to town?

    #24 Jersey

Revenues = Taxes. They may come in the form of "fees", tolls, increased costs for traffic tickets or other such things but they're coming out of the same people's pockets as taxes.

Don't worry, it's the same here in CA. The state is proposing a 1 cent increase on the sales tax while my city is also proposing a .75 cent increase.

I would love to see how much of a person's dollar is actually their's at the end of the day.

The gubmit using the "revenue" line really gives me a chuckle. Why is it that the gumbit is always talking about ways to "raise revenues", but never talking about cutting them?

We already have a water tax but putting tolls at the end of every road might be a good idea. . Oh btw, the Mass State Universal Healthcare progam? Already a 100 million dollar budget shortfall for this progam, and it's only been in place for 2 years. God help us if we ever see a federally sponsored universal healthcare program.

But hey, Gubmit is run just as efficiently as your average private business is. At least that's what's someone in here keeps telling us all.
