    #12 Jersey

The Frederick News-Post Online - Frederick County Maryland Daily Newspaper

Sad story indeed and a loss of a young life and a huge Patriots fan :(

I do remember hearing about this horrible tragedy about a year and a half ago where the dad shot and killed his wife and 3 children on Thanksgiving Day.

May they all R.I.P. (except the Dad) and may the Pats win the big one this time and this year for little David :rip:

Wonder why the Pats never responded to the requests for a jersey? Hopefully, they'll respond after seeing this article.

If they sent it to Kraft or even Stacy,I can't envision them just ignoring this request - Apparently this kid lived and died Patriots in an area that is swamped to the gills with Ravens fans,He deserved a jersey.

Thats horrible - Shows you the state of this nation and the state of mind of many of today's parents

If ANYONE in here knows connections to any of the Patriots staff, please let them know this school's wish was not granted and maybe the team can make ammends for the dissapointment they must have felt by getting ignored.

How the hell does this show the state of this nation? It's an unbelievable tragedy, no doubt, but you can't very well go and judge an entire country by something like this...

I am not saying the ENTIRE country in retrospect, duh - Stop being so crucial

But you do have to admit the past 5 years or so there has been increased acts of deadly violence and mass deaths within the US - If I wanted to,I can list 5 or 6 mass killings the past 2 years alone and some were family killings like this one - There are more and more crazy psychotic people out there and the scary thing is some of those are parents and their children who don't realize they could be in danger like this child who found out the hard way.

Thats what is scary these days.

For those juniors in here who were not around 20 years ago or so,these types of crimes were present but nowhere near as common as it is these days - This past year there was several shootings at a couple of schools and even those praying to god in church were gunned down in Texas and there was also a restaurant down south where a gunman came in and blasted away and how about that nursing home in NC where that idiot blasted away at wheelchair bound elderly victims because his estranged wife who worked there was pissing him off.

Sad thing is these maniacs usually take the easy way out and blow their brains out at the scene so you can't even understand why these things happen.

Lets not forget Virginia tech,The shootings in Alabama last winter...it goes on and on and more than ever.

There is a lot of fu(ked up people in this country as well as other countries I am sure.

Memoria praeteritorum bonorum:the homicide rate right now is lower than it was in 1967, and there are fewer gross homicides than in 1970.

Human savagery is not a recent invention.

There must've been some miscommunication. I would find it hard to believe that the Pats would've ignore this request. Maybe Chris Price, or Mike Reiss could help get the message to them. Its not too late.

Mike replied, and said he will let the team know. He also said, he doesnt think it was properly brought to the teams attention. That they are very good about taking care of these situations.

    Thanks Mike!

Thank you Nashville,Thats nice of you to do - Hopefully Mike takes care of this and shows those folks in Maryland that we do care and miss one of our young fans.

It would be cool if the Pats sent him an authentic sewn Jersey with the boys name on it and Brady's autograph and they put it in a frame and the grandparents or next of kin placed it in some type of holder next to his grave.

Mr. G. Kahn was a quiet, peace loving man who just gets a bad rap, and Mr. Tepes wouldn't have hurt a fly. Violence didn't begin until the invention of the gun.

    Media. That's it. The media.

There isn't more violence in society now than any other time and it certainly isn't the most dangerous time to live in. It's the fact that people see stories from the entire world on a daily basis, something that didn't happen 20 years ago.

I just don't understand how people call today a "dangerous" time compared to the past. I don't remember having bomb drills in school where we were told to hide under our desks when a nuke went off.
