    Damn, Tomase.

Beat Reiss, who seems to have taken a vacation lately (started with the "GLee" thing).

    Re: Maroney signed

Good to have Maroney in on time. Even if Dillon is a stud again this year, (and I do expect him to have a solid season) a backup we can count on when Dillon needs a breather will be refreshing.

    Re: Maroney signed

Your asking for too much! There will be at least 1 catastrophic injury, and I hope its not Brady.

Oh yeah awesome that we got "His Tightness" signed.

Interesting. Manny Lawson got 5 year $8.5 million while being a pick later. good job us for saving or bad job SF for paying a little extra

    Maroney signs

Am I just blind and not seeing the link to this news here? Saw it on KFFL a while ago and figured someone would have posted it here by now!

    Re: Maroney signs

Good, great to have the rookie in from the start, time to get up to speed. Now if Deion's agent get his head out o fhis butt and get a deal done....

    Re: Maroney signs

Also, if you read this article, more whining by Branches agent.

Why is it when a player gets what he wants and leaves a team for a big money contract, the player and agent come out and say "Hey, it's a business, and we have to do what is in our best interest."

Yet when a player doesn't get what he wants contractually, all of a sudden it is no longer a business, it's personal.

IMO, you can't have it both ways

Just walked in the door from the 9:00 session and Kool aid looked pretty damm quick. Easily the highlight of the session was a nice lick Vrabel layed on Heath Evans. Pretty hot out there , decent crowd. Gostkowski's kicks were signifiantky higher and deeper than Gramtaicas. If you are going bring your own water. They were charging $6.00 .

Grammatica is training camp fodder. Belichick brought him in to give Gostkowski someone to compete with, to get him ready for the season. This just further reinforces that.

This is what has been driving me crazy lately... that people/reporters are even mentioning Grammatica as the patriots kicker. HE WILL NOT BE HERE unless Gostkowski gets hurt. BB isnt going to spend a 4th round pick on a kicker that he doesnt plan on being on the 53 team roster.
