Now I wasn't sure if this should be in the visiting locker room or in the Patriots forum.
I decided to go in the Patriots forum since they hold our only first round pick and I know we will all root against the 49ers every week, but we never hope for injuries to any player but this has to hurt the 49ers defense.

Might be a stupid question, but what is the ACL part of the body? Just trying to get an idea of how badly he is hurt :(

Obviously we never root for injuries, but I'm perfectly at peace with being okay when the 49ers face adveristy this season - especially after their infuriatingly lucky start. Best of luck to Manny Lawson, though - that is a HUGE bummer.

    No Jersey Selected

Seconded. Lawson was someone I was hoping the Patriots would've gotten last year's draft.

    #24 Jersey

    Speak for yourself, man :)

With what we've been put through this year, non life altering injuries to the 49ers are a good thing (to me). Too bad they have two cheap wins already.

    #18 Jersey

It's the ligament in your knee that connects the femur to the tibia. In other words, it hurts. Alot. And it's the type of injury that can change a guy's career, since knee problems tend to be chronic (see Bure, Pavel)

Ouch. Thank you for explaining that one to me... I never like to see any players injured regardless of team. It takes the fun out of the Patriots playing them....

I hope that he is able to be up and running again soon....

I root for the entire Yankees/Colts teams to spontaniously combust, how's that for injuries?

I'm only kidding, if the Colts combusted they wouldn't be around for the absolute ass-raping they will receive in week 9.

As an architect on as job once told me when I was green, "the only stupid question, is the one you don't ask". :D I never forgot that.

Sucks for him, hopefully he heals well and comes back better than ever.

That all being said I never wanted to draft him, and always wanted Maroney :D

I say that because I know a lot of Pats fans were all over Lawson during predraft predictions.
