Great article which explains Palin's "popularity". Righties, there's even some bad stuff about Obama at the end if you're brave enough to click on the link. :D

Taibbi is my favorite mainstream political writer. He's such a blunt asshole it's truly refreshing.

Somebody has put my thoughts to pen.

Not only is Sarah Palin a fraud, she's the tawdriest, most half-assed fraud imaginable, 20 floors below the lowest common denominator, a character too dumb even for daytime TV — and this country is going to eat her up, cheering her every step of the way. All because most Americans no longer have the energy to do anything but lie back and allow ourselves to be jacked off by the calculating thieves who run this grasping consumer paradise we call a nation.

Great article. I've listened to him as the guest columnist on Bill Maher and have always found him funny and interesting.
On last Friday's show another guest, Dana Gould (a comedian) had a number of great responses and arguments in regards to Palin. He also totally destroyed the position of Wall Street journalist Steve Moore who stated Palin was more qualified then Obama. Still a little dazed how someone that writes for WSJ could actually make that statement.
