I'd guess he didn't want to deal with any controversy -- doesn't seem like he's the most attention-seeking guy.

Make no sense to me. Have you ever seen this guy's series on HBO. I always got the impression he could give a rat's ass. I'm thinking it wasn't about Greta.

Not that I am picking sides, Rush vs. Left yada yada yada, but did you see/hear what he said??

Drunk or not (and I realize he is a comedian) some rather "harsh" words spoken by Louis.

    You disagree?

EDIT - I will note I have only seen second hand mentions to what he said, so my question assumes those were accurate.

Also of note, with all the fervor in here regarding what Rush Limboner said, I'm half surprised the Right leaning members of the board hadn't brought his comments up yet, in a "see!!! see!!!" kinda moment.

Exactly. It didn't really seem like it was his gig anyway. Yeah, he does some political stuff, but he's much more than that. He's vulgar, yes, but he's also probably one of the smartest comics today. His show on FX is brilliant (again, vulgar, and not always a comedy) and unlike anything else on TV.

I imagine he just said "screw it, it's not worth it." Which he should have. He doesn't have to waste his breath on that room full of stiffs.

Louis C.K. said misogynist things and it's no big deal because he didn't really mean it.

    -sigh-

He is a comedian who has had a couple of shows of his own since like 2005/06. I watched his show regularly when it was on HBO, but he moved to the FX network a couple years back.

Very funny and clever and definitely vulgar somewhat.... in the ilk of George Carlin.

As for the details of the thread, HD posted a link in the OP.

I certainly don't approve of any attacks directed towards the child. I'd need to hear exactly what he said about Caribo Barbie before commenting.

I will say that its refreshing that he just pulled out, without offering up some phoney apology.

Based on what I read online - was something to effect of

"Sarah Palin and her retard making c**t"

Although I am sure HD (or anyone else for that matter) could correct me if I have the quote off

Yeah, that's way past the line. To the point where you can't even see the line in the rearview mirror.

Assuming that it was in fact what he said/tweeted, I do agree sir.

Sounds like you got it right, typical Maher, If I were Sarah Palins husband I'd be in Jail, I'd find some way to get that bastard and cripple him for life.
