Goldman has dropped their estimate from 50k to 25k already. Here is the Gallup estimate, especially interesting is the explaniation for how the government fudges the numbers, note 400k people have left the workforce and aren't being counted.

No it is sad the damage that Obamanomics have done for the economy, perhaps if he were to resign and take his gang with him the economy would improve, instead we will get the same old teleprompter speech.

Hopefully they don't delay the game for his speech.

    Damage? How so?

Where's the GOP jobs plan? And I mean an actual plan, not just some vague claptrap about cutting taxes for the wealthy and getting rid of some regulations we won't specify?

I thought this quote equally applicable in this thread.

Who's going to take over and make things better? The Republicans?

We saw how that worked out.

Step aside, Jimmy Carter. There's a new guy seriously challenging you for the title of worst president ever.

Should I give you credit for being unable to answer a simple question?

It's not entirely Obama's fault, as he didn't come into the best of situations, but his inexperience hasn't helped matters at all.

I did answer it the best thing Obama could do is resign and take his pals with him. That would allow the Tea Party to kill Obama care, stop the regulatory madness, and pass the Ryan budget. Then the investors would return.

Problem is you don't understand the answer when it is given to you.

    Try to understand something, PF13.

I'm not asking you to regurgitate a bunch of ideological line items.

I'm asking you what, specifically, the jobs plan(s) are and how you reason they'll increase employment in the short term.

Let's examine some of your implicit assumptions:

1.) Killing Obamacare will improve the economy and/or reduce unemployment. Is it your claim that Obamacare is killing jobs? Where and how, specifically? Is it your claim that killing Obamacare would help the economy? Same questions apply.

2.) "Stopping the regulatory madness" This has become a rote meme on the right-wing so color me unsurprised to see you uncritically regurgitating it here. What regulations are you referring to, specifically, and how, specifically, will this help the economy?

3.) Passing the Ryan budget. Given that the Ryan budget increases indebtedness for the next decade-plus, how does this square with your concern over deficit spending? What specific provisions of the Ryan plan do you see boosting the economy in the short term, and how?

Carter wasn't, though that appeals to lazy pubbies.

And Bush passed Carter (on the downside) years ago.

Who are the investors who have apparently left and need to return?

So it's just a partisan problem, huh? The remedy is simply connish leadership?

Bush left office 2.5 years ago with that title in tact.
