This movement is all about envy, hatred and racism. It's disgusting.

It's pretty much representative of those who support them in this forum. Socialists, anti-semites and self-loathers.

Yeah, so are some Ron Paul supporters, labor unions, churches, students, etc. True political movements attract all sorts of people who feel that government isn't hearing them. In the early days of the Tea Party we often saw racist signs and heard virulent anti-immigrant expressions. But, now that the Tea Party is simply an arm of the Republican Party and the Koch brothers, it's cleaned up it's public face. Let's hope the Democratic Party does not try or succeed in co-opting OWS. The challenges has always been to manage extremists in social movements, but frankly social movements including those involving women, labor, and civil rights have always managed to deal with the far left, and I think they'll deal effectively with both the far left and far right this time.

What a bitter, angry comment! Your comment, IMHO, would be as ignorant, myopic, and stupid as if I called the Tea Partiers and their supporters in this forum, "racists, religious lunatics, fascists, and bitter old people." While your comment may have been a necessary catharsis to manage your anger, I would suggest in the future you consider a little exercise rather than post that bile here.

Resorting to the lies of Rush Limbaugh, huh. No, unlike the Tea Party OWS so far has not been bought by anyone, and that's what scares the right-wing so much. Tea Partiers were easy to buy and are now owned by the Koch brothers and the Republican Party. So far, OWS is not owned by anyone. That's what, for now, makes it powerful, and scares the right wing.

What Limbaugh and the right are basing their argument on is that Soros donated $3 million to a group that donates money to various liberal causes, including the Gates Foundation and the Ford Foundation. A small amount of money (around $25,000) also went to Adbusters that is associated with OWS. That's the extent of Soros' involvement and Soros himself has said he supports the movement but is not involved in it. So far, OWS has not been co-opted. OWS is already such a big threat that the right-wing and its minions are resorting to lies, and people like you are being used as pawns to spread those lies. (May I humbly suggest that rather than blindly trust Limbaugh and Fox, do some homework and get the facts.)

    The Flea Party
I predicted when they hit the streets that given the rime and left alone to spew their Hate, Racism, Filthiness, Anti American Sh!t and Anti Semitism that eventually they would "self destruct" they are doing it.

I still say 'they should be marching and chanting in front of The White House'

Why do you love Wall Street so much, Harry Boy? There are a lot of racists, anti-Semites, and anti-American types (pro-China) on Wall Street too, but perhaps they're a little more refined than the 99%ers, so they don't offend you as much? Is that it? You don't like the manners of the people who are protesting?

I'm with you in opposing the anti-Semites and racists there, and perhaps, if possible, even more outspoken in my opposition to those bigots than you were in your opposition to the racists and homophobes at Tea Party rallies.

But, the anti-American bigots are a small group, vastly outnumbered by union workers, students, the unemployed, and people simply fed up with Wall Street booming while the rest of America struggles.

OT: While it's probably among the least objectionable of their posts, I love people who criticize NYC... always wonder if they've ever even been there. The place is a global city, amazing both to visit and to live in, and all they can do is find fault -- pretty good indication of a small mind.
