He has a hard enough time blocking Justin Tuck healthy, so that can't have helped.
Dude is a beast playing through it. Much respect.
There it is! We were waiting for the 2nd shoe to drop.
So he was injured in the SB. That explains a lot.
Makes the Gallery signing all that much better.
I wonder when this happened...was it in the Super Bowl, or earlier against Miami or something?
That was a MCL tear. I'm sure this tear was completely different from the MCL one he suffered vs the Fish bc they had to do an MRI and would have found the sprained/tore ACL.
Must have happened during either the AFCC or the SB.
Respect for that guy. He's way unappreciated around here at times.
Hmmmm..... maybe Logan goes on P.U.P. until midseason, that does make more sense now.
I thought the OL played well until the 4th quarter.
That would go a long way towards explaining his failure to pick up Tuck on that stunt where he was standing alone and tried to stop tuck with his arms instead of moving his body.
Damn... I get that the dude is a badass, but how do you not realize your ACL is torn? How is that even possible? Wow.
Tough son of a *****. I take my hat off to that.
Mankins is a monster playing through that injury. I wish him a speedy recovery.
Ask Forrest Gump. He thought something "bit him in the buttocks."
Makes me wonder if he had an undisclosed injury in 2007 that might explain his lacklustre performance in that game.
Inj happened early in SB. Mankins is a beast and according to Rap it was a partial tear and recovery time is 3 mos.
