Wes welker walked through the locker room while the media was presnt but declined to talk. Perhaps another good sign.
I doubt that was at all the case..I think Light has been injured..and he's better now..If you can find ANY shred of evidence that CoachB was holding him out for rest..please show it. So..instead of getting an O line in synch he kept Light out to rest him?? I doubt it....If it was for a day a practice here there..yes THAT I do believe and makes sense..and also, I am sure they are extra cautious as well in the preseason regarding injuries..but keeping a player out for 3 weeks?? I don't think so.Glad my hunch that BB was merely holding Light out to keep him fresh seems to be coming true

Glad my hunch that BB was merely holding Light out to keep him fresh seems to be coming true ... now if they can just find a competent body to plug in to the RG spot until Neal returns ...
Yates is back, too. Our Week 1 OL as of now:
LT: Light
LG: Mankins
C: Koppen
RG: Yates
RT: Kaczur
Love the leftside, rightside scares me. Yates has been brutal, and Kaczur has been surprisingly subpar himself.
Light coming back can actually help the right side of the line. Now Koppen can lend assistance to that side on some plays because Light and Mankins can tie up an extra man.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that Light was 100% healthy and held out; rather, I had previously speculated that he was a little banged up (i.e. "not serious") and rather than expose him to more contact even though he probably could have practiced, BB simply held him out knowing he'd be ready to go to start the season.

I thought that Kazcur would be an excellent right tackle a few years ago. Remember when he came in after Light went out for the season in 05'? I thought Kaczur did a solid job at LT that season. I think he will be okay at RT if all of the offseason distractions are behind him.
Small point: Kaczur is not just coming off a troubled year, but he's also rehabbing from an addiction. I'm sure full-swing is just what he needs to kick the shakes.
